My Dad

Happy Monday to you.  I wanted to share with you the gift I made for my Dad for Father's day.  He is a man who has everything.  He has a drawer full of gift cards from Father's day past and just won't spend money on himself.  So I thought I would give him  some of the foods he loves with  notes to let him know how much I love him.
Here is all goodies I bought him.

Muffins.
I have four other sister and we are always
joking that each of us is the favorite daughter.

Donut holes.

Apple.

He plays golf every week so I filled a vase with
golf balls and added flowers.

I made this flag to add to the vase along with two
golfing jokes.  Hope you can read them.  They
made him laugh.  Seeing him laugh was a gift to me!

My Dad loves to drink grape juice with lemon juice.
I hope your having a great day.  Happy Stamping!

The winner is....

Happy Wednesday! The winner of the TOPS butterfly contest was Elizabeth.  She completed all but one of the goals.  The ladies had 4 to 5 goals a week, like exercising and drinking water on top of losing weight.   She did a WONDERFUL job. I wanted to make a little something as a gift for the winner.  I decided to used the SU Curvy Keepsake Box as a gift holder.  Make sure to scroll to the bottom and see a picture of Elizabeth.
The butterfly was made using the SU butterfly dies.

The stamp set is from Close To My Heart.

Of course I saw this idea on Pinterest......

Here is our winner....Elizabeth.

All the TOPS members gave $1.00 for the winning
money pot.  Elizabeth is showing her winnings off.

Elaine came in second and I came in third place.
Thanks for stopping by today and allowing me to share my TOPS group. Have a great day!

TOPS Butterfly Contest

Happy Monday to you.  As most of you know I belong to a weight loss group called TOPS, We like to have contest to encourage each other to  lose weight and get healthy. I came up with this butterfly contest where you receive butterflies as you meet certain goals.  Instead of doing a chart of butterflies I had them add butterflies to cards.  This way we had a set of cards to use after the contest.
I punched out all sizes and colors of butterflies
and found some butterfly stickers.

I used different color CS to make the base of the cards.
I embossed white CS with different designs and glued
them together to form the base of the cards.

I added ribbon to some of the cards.
Here are the completed cards the ladies added
their butterflies to.

These are the sample cards I made for the
ladies to use as a guide of what the cards could
look  like.

Stop by on Wednesday to see the winner of the butterfly contest.  Hope you have a super great day!

Happy Father's Day

In honor of Father's Day  this weekend I made this cute little tool chest out of the SU curvy keepsake box die. I wish I had more time to make a bunch of these for all the Father's in my family but my crafting time is limited these days.
This SU die cut is a really nice way to make
different kinds of gift holders.

The tools are from a die set I borrowed from my
neighbor Heather last year some time.  I usually
die cut lots of the same die pieces to use at a
later date.

The ruler is from a stamp set from "Craft Lounge"
Nailed it.

Happy Father's day to all the fathers out there.  May God Bless you.

Birthday Envelope Folio

Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing the envelope folio I made for my sister Lisa for her birthday.  She was so excited because she knew she was getting this folio for her birthday since I made one for my other two sisters birthdays. Lisa is the fourth sister out of five and we have no baby pictures of her......(sad face) When she was younger we would tease her and tell her she was adopted. That was so mean of us! It made me sad not he be able to fill up her folio with baby pictures.  We have all the extended family looking for baby pictures so we can fill up her folio.
I used a paper packet from The Paper Studio-
Kirby Teesdale.  The ribbon is from Joann's
dollar bin.

This is the first inside envelope.  This paper is
so beautiful.  I distressed all the edges with Tim
Holtz inks.

I made my own envelopes using brown CS.

This is the folio all folded out.

I made the closures using a circle punch,
 heart die, butterflies and birds
 .

This is how the flap opens and where you add
your pictures.

I did find some school pictures of Lisa and one from prom but I didn't take any pictures of them inside the folio.  Poor Lisa we just forget to take pictures of her.....Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day!

It's A Boy

Happy Monday.  How's your day so far?  Wonderful I hope.  I had a baby shower this weekend and made this cute card.  Of course the lay out of the card I saw on Pintrest and liked the way the SU scallop tag was used.
The giraffe was already cut and colored from my stash
of baby embellishments. Don't remember who the
stamp was made by....Penny Black maybe????

He is just a cute little giraffe.

You all have a super great week.  Happy Stamping.

Six pack birthday card

Happy Friday to you!  Today's card was made for my son James' birthday.  I saw this on my favorite place....Pintrest....LOL  Thought is was really cute. At the school I worked at I found this silver paper while cleaning out one of the closets. The school was built back in the 1800's and this paper belong to one of the Nuns from the early 1900's.  I asked if I could have a couple of pieces and I was given the whole folder. It's a beautiful silver and perfect for the tin look on the six pack.
You can see the blue reflection from my camera.  (LOL)
I stamped the "Happy Birthday" and free hand
wrote " The six pack you always wanted!"
.
The circles were made using the round die cut
from Sizzix's circle flip card framelits.

I dug through my recycle bin and pulled off six
tabs to use for the card.

Inside the card.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

I went to Pinterest for inspiration and added
my own touches.

The dress was a die cut from SU.  The paper was
from my stash.

The pearl necklace is just white glitter bling.
