Light the Candles

Happy Thursday.  Today is the last day of March.  This month just flew by. I made this card for my sister's birthday.  It's an Art Impressions stamp and yes I purchased it at the convention.  Can you believe I am actually using the stamps I purchased in the same year of the convention. (laughing)
I used my Prismacolor markers and some ink
to distress the edges.

Inside the card.
My sister got a kick out of this saying.
Have a great weekend. Don't get fooled tomorrow on April Fools Day!

Praying for you...

Happy Monday. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday. Any plans for crafting this week? I didn't do any kind of Easter crafts this year. boo hoo. Oh well there is always next year. The card I am sharing today was made for a friend of mine who is going through cancer treatments. We are keeping him in our prayers and hoping for the best.
The stamp set is from Stampin Up,

Inside the card. Can you see the prayer hands
behind the sentiment?
You all have a wonderful week!

Sister's Card

Happy Thursday. Today I am sharing another stamp set I purchased at the Stamp Convention here in Albuquerque.  Arts Impressions and Rubbernecker carry the cutest cartoon characters to stamp with. I thought of my sisters when I saw this stamp and made them each a card.
The stamp set is by Art Impressions.

Each card is just a bit different just like each of
my sisters. My sisters are a blessing to me!

I am really out of touch with my color markers
and pencils.  It has been awhile since I colored
and I am rusty but it sure was fun.

Inside the card.
Hope you all have a Blessed Easter!

Happy Monday. How is everyone today? It was officially the first day of Spring yesterday. Yuppie! How many of you went to the Stamp Convention here in Albuquerque last weekend? I went with my neighbor Heather and we had a great time.  I didn't go crazy this year and buy everything. Hee hee. Like I need anything....  My daughter has six chickens so we are blessed with fresh eggs. I saw this chicken at the stamp convention and just had to have it. It's made by Art Impressions.
I used embossing folders and die cuts.

I just love the attitude of the chicken. She is just
telling you like it is......(laughing)

My husband didn't get this saying. You know the
old joke "Why did the chicken cross the road"?
Do you get it? Okay so maybe it's just me....?
Enjoy the first week of spring.  Watch out for those chickens crossing the road....(laughing)

Happy Thursday. So have you adjusted to the time change yet? Not me!! I am really having a hard time this year. I guess in a few weeks we won't even notice.  I hope! Today I want to share a gift I received from a crafting friend Bernadette. She stopped by a few weeks ago and brought this cute purse.  It inspired me to make my own purses. Thanks Bernadette.
I believe she used SU double sided paper.
I love the bling she used as the snap for the purse.

Here is the purse I made. As you can see my purse
is much smaller next to hers. I used the sizzix die cut.
I think Bernadette used SU die cut.

Of course I couldn't just make one, so I made
each of my TOPS members a little purse for
doing such a great job on the latest contest.
Have a super great weekend. Happy Stamping!

Quick Cards

Happy Monday.  Back in the day when we had our Wednesday Ladies Card Night, I had about 200 cards on hand at my beck and call. Now I only have about 20 cards and believe me ladies when I say the last 20 cards are not worthy of sending out. (laughing). When I first started making cards I thought they were the greatest things ever.  I look at them now and just laugh. I needed a couple of quick cards for two of the ladies at my TOPS group. So here is what I put together last minute really quick.
I needed a sympathy card and a we miss you card.

Used an embossing folder, stamps, flowers and bling.

The cartoon was already colored from a previous card
so I just glued it down, added ribbon, flowers and bling.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a Blessed Day!

Happy Birthday

Happy Thursday! Can you believe it's already March and we will be changing our clocks this weekend.  For me that means more time spent outside and less time in my craft room.  That is one of those good/bad things...ha ha. Today's card was make for my daughter-in-law's birthday.
This card was made using Heartfelt Creations die cuts.
They have so many beautiful die cuts.

I wish I could say I made the flower and butterfly
but these days I am lucky to even make a card.
I have the Heartfelt Creations flower die cuts
and one day I will make these beautiful flowers. (smiling)

Inside the card
Have a wonderful weekend. Don't forget to change those clocks. God Bless.

Beautiful Gift.

Hello.  Happy Monday. Today's posting is a gift I received from Debbie, one of my crafting buddies. She has ventured into media art and she is doing some beautiful things. Oh Dear!! Another craft I want to try but I don't want to spend the money for all the new and fun projects....hee hee
This started out as a blank white canvas,
Debbie made the embellishments using
paper, die cuts, glue and paints.

She said it's a fun craft to do.

She did such a wonderful job!!  I just love it!

Thanks Debbie! Happy Crafting.

Makes you laugh!

Happy Thursday! A friend of mine had to have surgery a couple of weeks ago.  He is such a funny man who happens to be a doctor married to a nurse.  They have the best sense of humor.  I sent him a card before the surgery wishing him good luck.  This is the card I made and sent after the surgery.
The clipboard and medicine bottle are die cuts
from Sizzix-Get Well set.

I printed the saying on my computer.

Inside the card. I sure hope this made him laugh.
I think it's so funny.  Did it make you smile?

This came from a cartoon I found on-line. I don't
have any butt stamps but this one makes me want
to purchase some. LOL Does anyone out there have any?
No Butts about it, I hope you have a super great weekend!
