BOO!

Happy Halloween! Are you ready for all the trick-or-treaters? I was lucky to have spent an afternoon with my neighbor Heather. She had the cutest Halloween cards for us to make. I really miss our crafting days together. It was so much fun.

The circles are one large square die cut.
All the other items are from die cuts or punches.

The backgroud paper was made using Tim Holtz
Oxide inks. You sponge ink on water color paper,
then spray it with water and watch the colors change.

Can you see the light water sprays on the paper?

I wish you could see all the glitter on this card.
The candelabra is so cool. It looks as if its
real fire on the candles.

Have a fun Halloween and be safe.

Just Kidding

Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a card I made for one of my TOPS friends. According to her, she turned 39 again. (laughing) I thought this SU "Just Kidding" stamp set was perfect for her. I was trying to beat the mail man so the card was made very quick and simple.
This is an older stamp set but it has
some cute sayings in it.

Happy 29th birthday to all my 110 lb. friends....hee hee Have a good day!

Scarecrow bag

Happy Tuesday! How is everyone doing today? Are you enjoying the cool Fall weather? I love this time of the year. I dug out my fall color paper and decided to make this Scarecrow bag. He came out really cute.
The face and hat are both cut using the Top Note die cut.

The hat is made from burlap paper.

Heartfelt Creations

Happy Monday! I know we are into the Fall season and I should be making Fall cards, but since I still had my color pencils out I decided to make some bright flower cards. I used the Heartfelt Sun Kissed Fleur stamp and Die set and Sun Kissed Fleur Swirls.
I stamped the cards with the Sun Kissed Fleur Swirls
stamp set and colored them in.

On a separate sheet of CS, I made some
extra flowers to add a 3-D look to some of the flowers.
to each card.

This card was made to be mailed by leaving
the flower layering flat.

The second card I used Heartfelt Creations'
flower shaping tools to shape the flower.
I then added Crystal Lacquer to all the flowers.

It changed the color of the flowers and made
all the colors blend very well.

I love this stamp set.
Have a wonderful Fall day. God Bless.

Birthday Butterfly

Happy October Monday!  Today I am sharing a birthday card I made using the Stampin Up stamp set "Butterfly Basics". I saw this card on Pinterest  thought it was beautiful.  You can check it out at: alexscreativecorner.blogspot.ca
I used Prismacolor pencils to color
in the flower and butterfly.

Can you see the light gray background?

I added ribbon and white sequins.

This was a fun card and so relaxing to color.  Have a wonderful day!
