Birthday

Happy Monday! How is everyone doing today?  I saw this layout on Pinterest and decided to give it a try. I'm not good at color and design matching but I found this SU paper package I bought at a craft fair years ago.  I really like the colors and how the designs coordinate.

Butterflies

Happy Monday! Here is another quilt card I made last week. 

The paper is from a pattern packet with 

butterflies and bicycles.  

Inside the card. 

"Butterflies are the heaven sent kisses of Angels"

Happy Monday! I was able to spend some time in my craft room on Sunday. If any of you follow Jennifer Magurie you know she has asked all crafters/card makers to a make a card in the colors of the Ukrainian flag or using Sunflowers, which is their national flower. She ask if we would share them on social media using the hashtag #CardsForUkraine. I decided to do a quilt type card using the colors of the flag. Our prayers, hope and love are with the people of Ukraine! 

I used my 1 1/4" punch to cut out several

squares. Then cut some of them in half.

Using a 5 x  5 piece of card stock, I

arranged each block first to make

 sure the pattern was correct before 

gluing them down. The embossing

 folder is smaller than the card so I had 

to line it up a second time to emboss the 

whole card. 

I left the inside blank to be used as

needed.

Happy Monday! We know it's March when all the winds come blowing in and one day you wear shorts and the next day a jacket.....(smiling). How many of you like to just color? A few weeks back I had some free time and decided I wanted to do some kind of relaxing crafting. I'm sure as some of you know crafting can sometimes seem like a labor of love, so I decided coloring would be relaxing.  This Cat stamp is from Close To My Heart (CTMH) and thought it would be fun to color. It took me a couple of weeks to finally get around to making a card with it. 

The lamp shade and saying are from 

another CTMH stamp set. I used

Prismacolor pencils and Turpenoid 

to color the cat. 

Inside the card I left it blank so I could

use it for any occasion.
