Praise the Lord Butterfly Card

It's Friday!  Hope your day is going well so far.  Today's card is a very simple card using white CS as the background along with some embellishments, stamps and dies.
I stamped the swirls with a SU stamp and the
Praise the Lord is a CTMH stamp.

The flower is a Jolee's embellishment.

The butterfly was made using the Sizzix & Hero
Arts Die and Stamp butterfly set.  I added ink and
glitter to the butterfly.

Inside the card I used a sticker of words attached
to a die cut oval.

I added glitter to the scalloped edges and attached the flower.

Confirmatiom photo book

Happy Wednesday to you! I had the honor to sponsor my cousin Brianna for her confirmation last week.  I decided to make her a photo album to have memories to cherish in the coming years.  In the Catholic church when you are being comfirmed you have to choose a Saint from the bible to be named after. Brianna chose St Dymphna who is the patron Saint of the nervous, emotionally disturbed and mentally ill.  She chose St Dymphna in part for our Grandma who suffers from Alzheimer. If you get a chance read up on St Dymphna and what she stands for.
I attached St. Dymphna picture on the lift side of the photo
album along with the date of Brianna Comfirmation.

I used the same pattern on this book as I have for the
last few albums I've made.  The only difference is
I made the cover using Chipboard.  It seems to really
make a difference in the style and look of the book.

On the first page of the book I put a picture of Brianna
with the Archbishop Michael Sheehan.

These are the pages folded out.

Here's a picture of Me and Brianna.

These are the pull outs from the pockets.  I left blank
pull outs for her to add her own pictures.

I used a paper packet from The Paper Studio
"Blanc Boutique" it has a beautiful pearl finish.

Red is a color in the Church for Confirmation so
I used red and added some gold CS to it. This is
another blank spot I left for additional pictures.

Back of the book
Sorry for the long posting.  It was a beautiful Mass and I am very blessed to be a part of it.  Have a great day!

Chocolate Nugget Bibles

Happy Memorial Day!  Today pause and remember our fallen soldiers and their families.   Hope you have time to do some crafting.  I made these Chocolate Nugget Bibles for my cousin's confirmation celebration.  I've always wanted to make these and they were fun to put together.
Here are the nuggets being attached to the black CS.
You can see the bible scriptures under the red ribbon.
I made 55 chocolate bible nuggets.

I typed up different scriptures for the left side of
the bible and on the right I added Brianna's name
and the date of her confirmation.

I attached a red ribbon to the center with a glue dot.

This is the cake from Costco.  They did a beautiful job!
Make sure to check back on Wednesday to see the photo book I made for Brianna's confirmation.  Hope you have a fun day with your family and friends.

Live Laugh Love

Happy Friday to you!  Hope your having a great day! I had some black CS pieces left over from the wedding invites I made, so I am going to try and use it up.   I made this card using that black CS along with some gold CS.
The butterfly and the gold flower design behind
the butterfly are both die cuts.

I added glitter and bling to the butterfly.

Live-Laugh-Love is a CTMH stamp.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! God Bless.

Flower Photo Pot

For Mother's Day every year I usually make a little something for all the Mother's in my family. This year I was so busy making my son's wedding invites that Mother's Day sneaked up on me.  Thank goodness I purchased handmade Mother's Day cards at the craft fair a couple of weeks ago.  I  did manage to make this flower pot filled with our granddaughter Tessa's pictures.  My daughter-in-law Rena loved it.
Using acrylic paints I added Tessa's footprint to the
flower pot.  I punched out different facial expressions
of Tessa and glued them to punched flowers.

I added a butterfly body to the foot prints to create
a blue butterfly.

Here is a close up of the Tessa's pictures.

We are so enjoying our precious Tessa! By the way I finished the wedding invites.  Yeah!!!

Photo Album

Happy Monday to you!  Here is a photo album I made for Debbie a wonderful friend.  She was part of the Wednesday Ladies Night Out group.  She is a very talented crafter.  She makes the most beautiful photo albums and cards.  Debbie hope you had a wonderful birthday!!  I found this photo album on Pinterest and followed the tutorial on this blog: "Unique Scrappiness"   uniquescrappiness.com.  It's a wonderful step by step tutorial.
The paper pack is from Recollections.

The flowers are from Paper Studio.

Here is what it looks like opened and on its side.
The fold out accordion flap holds ten photos.
It also has pocket inserts for more pictures.

A pocket was added to every other panel.

This paper packet came with pre-printed labels for
pictures and/or journaling.

I didn't add any type of embellishments I felt the
paper spoke for itself.

These photo album books are fun to make.  Have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday

Happy Friday to you! Today I am sharing a birthday card I made using die cuts and glitter paper. I was cleaning up my craft room.  (A scary thing to do....LOL)  I came across this glitter paper from CTMH that I forgot I had.  Image that....forgetting that I had purchased and not used something....Hee Hee I am sure that has never happen to you......  Of course I went to Pinterest for inspiration and made this Birthday card.
The "Happy Birthday" was cut with a die from
Elizabeth craft designs. Using the SU framelits dies
I cut the banners.

Not sure where the stars are from.

This glitter paper is beautiful.
Hope you find time for crafting this weekend.  Thanks for stopping by!

Masculine Graduation Card

Hello!  How is everyone today?  I saw this card design on Pinterest and liked it for a masculine graduation card.  My daughter-in-law's brother graduated from UNM this past weekend and I thought this would be a great card for him.
The best thing about this card it's not your
traditional graduation card or colors.

I used Tom Holtz distressing inks for all the edges.

Have a Fabulous Day!

Graduation

Happy Monday.  Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!  Today I am sharing a graduation card I made for my niece Katrina.  She graduated from UNM on Thursday with Honors.  We are very proud of her!!
Using a music embossing folder I embossed the top
half of the card stock and stamped the bottom half.
The CS is a beautiful shimmery gold.

The hat is an embellishment from Jolee's at Hobby Lobby.

The bow was made using the SU bow punch.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your day! God Bless.
