Embossed Card

Happy Friday to you.  Do you have any plans for the weekend?  Hope it includes some crafting.  Today I am sharing a sympathy card I made.  A friend's mother passed away and I wanted to send her a card.  I didn't have any in my stash so I had to make one.   It's hard to make sympathy cards when someone has already passed on.
The paper is a shimmer red from my scrap pile. I
used an embossing folder for the design.
This paper embossed so beautifully.  I wish I
knew where this paper came from. I just love it!

Inside the card I used a  CTMH and
Mama Elephant stamp sets.
Enjoy your weekend!  Happy Stamping.

Play day with Isabella

Hello! Happy Wednesday to you.   I spent the day with my  niece Isabella and we did some crafting.  She's four years old and her attention span is very short so we did lots of little projects. I am sharing the cards she made.  It was so much fun!

Here she is inking her stamp.

This is her completed bunny card.

She loved the "Hello Kitty" stickers.

These are the three cards she made.

Inside her cards.

This one is my favorite!!  She did all the gluing
herself.  I had an example for her to follow and she
did a wonderful job!
Thanks for letting me share.  Have a super great day!

Christmas Waterfall Folio

Hello everyone! How's your day going so far?  Wonderful I hope.  Today I am sharing a Christmas waterfall folio.  Are you thinking Christmas yet?....LOL.  I bought some Christmas paper on clearance after the Holidays. Its been on my craft room screaming to be used.
I cut a piece of green burlap and attached a
poinsettia flower to the cover.
The Santa is a sticker attached to a tag.  I added
the Happy Holidays embellishment to the top.

Inside with the tags and waterfall folio.

These are the tags the packet came with.
I attached CS to the back.
By the way there is 305 days before Christmas........ Hee hee  Have a good week!

Turning One

Happy Friday to you.  Today I am sharing a card I made for a birthday party I attended this past weekend. I was digging through my box of embellishments and thought this little girl would make a cute first birthday card.
The paper is from "Tuesday Morning" and the pink
fur and embellishment is from the "Dollar Tree".

The embellishment is a snow-globe with glitter.

The sentiment is a CTMH stamp and the little
girl is from "Mama Elephant".
Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you have a special weekend with family and friends.

A box of Cards

Happy Wednesday! I had the pleasure of visiting with one of my friends from TOPS.   Dolly is 90 years old and full of life.   She now lives in a independent retirement home. She doesn't drive anymore so she enjoys sending cards.  I took her a box of six misc. cards I made.
I put the cards in a a clear box along with a Valentines goodies.
I didn't want Dolly to have to use additional postage
so I made the cards without any 3-D embellishments.

Polk-a-dot paper and different stamps were used
for each card.

I really wanted to add embellishments to these cards so I just might have to remake them adding ribbon, flowers and butterflies.  I will share if I do.  You all have a super great day!  God Bless.

Knowing It All

Happy Presidents Day!  Are you off work today doing some crafting? Sure hope so! I had pre-cut card kits laying around so I decided to make some cards for my sisters. We are still on our weight loss challenge so I used a stamp that reads:  "I wonder if knowing it all burns calories?".  My sisters tease me that I think I know it all so I thought this stamp is just perfect for the card.
These are the original card kits.

Here are the cards I made using the pre-cut kits.

This is the first card I made. I felt it was to plain
and needs something.

I used Tim Holtz inks to distress the edges of the
paper and used embossing folders for the CS.

Don't you think they look much better with the
distressed ink and embossing folder?
I colored the hearts to match the dress.
On this card I used my CTMH distressing tool
on the edges along with the inks.

Enjoy your day!  Happy Stamping.

Valentine Hershey's Bars

Hello! Hows everyone doing today?  With Valentines this weekend everywhere you look there is Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate.  Who doesn't love Chocolate?  I saw these on a Pinterest and I thought I would give them a try.
I had all these Chocolate bars left over from my
party so I thought I give them away before I eat them all.

This is a CTMH STAMP.

Can you see the small hearts?  I used the SU heart punch.
Happy Valentines Day!!  Have a FUN weekend, eat lots of Chocolate for me....

Valentine Boxes

Happy Wednesday to you.  Every Valentines I try to make my children a little something for Valentines Day. Are you saying to yourself "They are adults Denita, do they really need a little Valentine treat?"  Yes they do and they also get an Easter basket every year....LOL  I saw these boxes on "Mychicknscratch" and thought these would be the perfect Valentines gift for the kids.

These boxes are very easy to make and so much fun.

Hugs and Kisses is a sticker.  I'm going to fill
this one with Hershey's Hugs & kisses chocolate.

This one is my favorite.  I made this one for our
granddaughter Tessa.

What the inside of the box looks like.

I used a heart brad and CS circle to keep box closed.
Thanks for stopping by.  Have a super day!

Doggie Pencil

Happy Monday to you!  Hope you had a good weekend.  I had a hard time staying in my craft room on Sunday because the weather here in Albuquerque was so nice!! I wanted to be outside and enjoy the sunshine.  I did manage to make these cute little dog pencils.  I case'd them from Pinterest and they were featured on Splitcoaststampers.
The body is a 1" x 12" piece of card stock.
I used punches for the dog's face.

To add texture I embossed the strip for the body.
Each doggie is a bit different from the other.

I

I think these would make cute classroom Valentines.  Have a wonderful day!
