Celebrate

Happy Black Friday to you!  Did you get out there with all the crazy shoppers and get some good deals? My sister Renee and I were one of those shoppers.  We went every year.  On Thanksgiving day we would look over the sales and map out the stores we would hit for the best buys.  We would get up at 3am and be in line at 4am.  It was so much fun!!  She lives in AZ now so I really miss her!!  That was back in the days when the stores didn't open on Thursdays. For those of you who shopped I hope you got some great deals.

Here is today's card.  I guess I should have made it  Black and White to celebrate Black Friday....LOL
The stamp is from CTMH and the flower was made using a die cut.

The paper is from a paper packet from KC & Company.
You have a super great day.  Enjoy all those Thanksgiving leftovers....God Bless

Boxes

Today I am sharing some boxes I made to be used for Christmas goodies.  I do a lot of baking at Christmas time so I will fill the boxes with baked goods and send them home with my guest.
The boxes were made with CS and pattern CS.
I made all the embellishments with die cuts.

This is what the inside of the box looks like.
I used a square die cut to cutout the window.
Instead of using a sheet of Acetate for the window
I used the plastic from my embossing folders.

Yes I do keep all the plastic's my crafts come in.
I have a hard time throwing things away
when I could use it for something else....LOL
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Gift Card Holder

Happy Monday to you.  I am sharing some gift card holders I saw on pinterest.
I made these for the craft fair. Everyone always needs gift card holders at Christmas time.
At least that's what I thought.  People said they were so cute but no one purchased any.
Not one of these were sold.  I sold them for $2.00 or 3 for $5.00.  Maybe I was asking
to much for them...????  Oh well at least I have gift card holders ready for the next craft fair.

These are made with felt ornaments and I left the
string attached so they can be hung on a tree.

I attached Christmas tags to these ones.

The bows/embellishments slip off and the card is opened
to insert the gift card or money.
Hope your week is filled with lots of Holiday cheer!!

Lamp post music card

Hello everyone! Today's card is made using a blank piece of card stock, ink and a variety of stamps.

The music background was stamped first with the lightest
brown ink. Using darker inks of browns and reds I
stamped over the music background with a variety of stamps.

I used eight (8)  different stamps to create
the card.  All the stamps are from CTMH.  The
edges were then distressed with browns and reds.

I added ink to some wooden embellishments,
then attached them to the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope your day is filled with the happiness that music brings to our hearts.

Composition notebooks

Hello there.  Welcome to my blog!  Today's posting is kind of long so sorry about that.
I made these notebooks for my craft fair and they were a hot item with the kids.
I purchased these composition notebooks for $.49
in the clearance school supplies bin.

These little monsters are from CTMH.
They are no long available.  boo hoo!

The paper is from CTMH and I just glued on googly eyes.
These are the really big eyes that you are not sure what
to do with.  LOL

These are pirate stickers I got in a bin at Smith's of all places.

This was made using a die cut from Cuttlebug.

I ran out of monsters on this one so I stamped an owl
and added googly eyes and some buttons.

This set was made using KC & company paper
and some clear stickers.

I bought these large paper clips meaning to make
book markers. Of course I never did make any. So I
thought I would try one and make it to match the book.

Tomorrow I will be sharing pictures from the craft fair I did this weekend so I hope you stop by to see what it was all about. Have a wonderful day!
