It was good to be back at card night again. We made some great cards and had lots of fun. Marti's birthday was Sunday so we had a birthday celebration for her before we started our cards. She turned 29 again....LOL

Marti wearing the birthday crown.  I always bring this crown  for
Birthday Celebrations so the ladies can feel like a Princess.
Look how beautiful Marti looks!!  She looks like a Queen.

Opening up presents.
Since she is the Cricut Queen we bought her the
CTMH Cricut Art Phyilosophy Collection.

Singing Happy Birthday to her

Birthday Bundt Cake.

The Wednesday Card Group
Top:   Me, Renee, Debbie, Heather
Bottom:   Dee and Marti
How lucky am I to be surrounded by all these
 beautiful and talented women!!

Heather's Card
The paper came with the clouds and the moon.
The house, witch, ghost etc are all punches.
Great Halloween card!

My Card
The flower was made using a stamp with the matching punch
from SU.  The embossing folder is also SU.

Debbie's Card
This was a great technique she showed us.
Using ink on an embossing folder and running it through
the embossing machine adds the color to the card while embossing
the image.  I will have to post instructions on my
blog for you.  It was a lot of fun!!

Inside Debbie's card
She always makes such elegant cards.

Debbie's second Card
She made a recipe card.
How darling is this card?

Look at the measuring cup.  She made it using her computer.
Wow!  Great job.

Renee's Card
The paper she used is just gorgeous.
 Cool Card.

Dee's Card
She used Comic Swirl template and sprayed Dylusion inks to make the paper.
How cool is that?  Just love it!

Hope you enjoyed all the wonderful cards the ladies made.  We hope it brought smiles to your faces and ideas for your next project.  Have a excellent day today!!

So this was my home for12 days during the State Fair, the Daisy Mini-Donuts booth.  The State Fair came to an end on Sunday with a bang.  Lots of family and friends came out to enjoy the Mini -Donuts and all the attractions the State Fair had to offer.

The Daisy Mini-Donuts Booth

Those Daisies are just adorable.  Can you see the bee on the pink daisy?

The Mini-Donuts being cooked

Mmmmmmm don't you just want to reach in and eat one or two or three......
I only ate one mini-donut the whole fair.  Hard to believe huh!!!

This is Alaina. This was her first year working the Mini-Donuts.
She is a hard worker and so sweet.

This is Amy the "Donut lady" as they call her at the fair.  LOL
This is her booth and  everyone just loves her!!!
She has a big HEART and makes a friend in EVERYONE!!!!
I told her this year she needed to quit giving all her Donuts away
or she wasn't going to make any money!!!  She will do anything
for anyone.  She is a SUPER GREAT lady!!!!

Here I am with Amy.

This is the night crew Erica, Alfredo and Gloria.
They are so much fun to work with and bring such happiness
with them to work everyday.  They make working fun!!  I am blessed
to have them as friends and co-workers!!

This is John, Amy's husband.  He has just as big of a HEART as Amy does.
They are the true meaning of living as Jesus has taught us!!
They treat everyone with respect and love.  They give from the
heart and are always welling to lend helping hand!!!
Basket of Donuts with dipping sauces.  Amy donated  these to
  Security guard's meeting one morning.

Happy Tuesday to you!!!  Here is another Fall card.  My brother-in-law had a birthday on Saturday so I made him this card.
The tree is from SU. I used Tim Hotlz watercolors to stamp the tree.
The ovals are cut using die cuts.

The Happy Birthday is a CTMH stamp.  I stamped it on Vellum paper, embossed it
and distressed it with brown ink.  I cut it out free hand and then added ribbon.
Thank you for stopping by today!!  Tomorrow I will share some pictures from the State Fair  "Daisy Donuts" booth.  Have a great day! God Bless.

It's the third day of Fall and we are having record breaking heat in Albuquerque. The mornings are cool and it's getting darker sooner so Fall and all its beautiful colors are just around the corner.  Here is a card for the fall season.
The tree stamp is from SU.
I used Tim Holtz watercolor markers to stamp the tree image.
Using die cuts I cut out the ovals and attached flowers, buttons and ribbon.

Hope you have a nice Fall day filled with fresh cool air and beautiful fall colors....

Does he make you want to go out and golf or glad your at work?.....LOL
I used prismacolor pencils on this card except for the golf
clubs I used a gray/silver copic marker.  The saying was done
on my computer.
The weekend is almost here!! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!!!

I love looking at crafting magazines.  There are so many talented people out there. This card was inspired by one of those crafting magazine.

First I embossed the white CS.  I cut out the round scallop with a die cut
and then  cut it in half.  I attached it to the green pattern paper.  I tied a double bow using
ribbon  from Martha Stewart and added some glittered embroidery thread to the bow.
Not sure where I purchased the button.  It's made by "Prima Flowers".

Thank you for stopping by today.

Its time to make the mini donuts....I am still making the donuts at the State Fair.  Saturday was so busy we made thousands of donuts.  The fair is all about the food that is for sure!!  The new food at the fair is a "Donut Burger".  Its a hamburger patty between two glazed donuts. Oh Boy!! I know I couldn't eat that but there were several people we talked to that had tried them and said they were not bad...Yuck is all I can say....

This is a stand-up card I made using bright and colorful colors.  The stamp set is from CTMH and the pattern paper is from the American Girl packet.

The white strip down the middle is stamped with different shapes
of colorful circles.

This is the card standing up.
Sending you a colorful smile and lots of sunshine today...Thanks for stopping by!!!

I saw this card in one of the crafting magazines and just thought it was so beautiful I just had to make it.  It would be a beautiful Mother's day card or birthday card.

I used an embossing folder for the cream CS.  The roses are from
a stamp store in Albuquerque called "Scraps Galore".  I got the
Pearl Swirl  from Big Lots.

Close up of the flowers.  They are covered in glitter.

Love life, engage in it, give it all you've got.  Love it with a passion, because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it.  God Bless.

Happy Monday to you!!   This is a card with a little bit of a different fold.  I am sure you have all seen one before but I do like cards that fold in different ways.

The paper is from Memory box and CTMH.  The circle was cut
using different size punches.  The scallop line punch was used to add
the layers and color to the card.

The stamp is from SU and the arrow and brad is from CTMH.

Here is the card with the arrow removed from the circle.

The card fully opened inside.
Wishing you a week filled with smiles and hugs.....

Today's card was made using scrap paper and punches. Using a small flower punch and 1" circle punch I punched away.  I arranged the circles and flowers according to color and patterns.  I stamped the "Think of you" attached to the bottom and added bling to each flower. Easy Breezy card.

Enjoy your weekend and find time to craft and relax.

This Angel stamp is an Aunt Amy's stamp.  I enjoyed buying stamps from her but she sold her business when she got cancer.  I pray she is doing well and beat her cancer.  All her stamps were unique and she always had a card swap or something going on for all her customers.

I stamped the Angel, cut her out and attached her to the oval.  She was
colored using the Prismacolor markers.

Inside the card.  The sentiment is a CTMH stamp set.

I added Flower soft to her hair and flock to her wings.

I purchased the ribbon from Walmart at their after Christmas sale.
Sending you Angels from above to protect all the ones you love....Have a super great day!!

Happy Wednesday to you!!  Today is the first day of the New Mexico State Fair. I will again be working at the State Fair inside the "Daisy Donuts" booth.  If you make it to the State Fair please stop by and say Hi.  The booth is located just down the street from Tingley coliseum where all the Rodeo/Concerts take place.

My daughter's boyfriend asked me if I could make a card for his little cousin.  Whenever they see each other they always ask "Where is my millions ?" At one of the stores he found some play money that were Million dollar bills and he thought it would be cute to send them to him.  To bad he couldn't found a real bag of a Million dollars....hee hee

This stamp set is a mini clear set from a dollar bin I got at Joann's.
I colored the little guy using the Pismacolor markers.  I printed
the money off my computer and rolled it up to  tuck inside the flap.
(Printing money off my computer doesn't sound like the right thing to be doing..LOL)

The money looks real.  Don't you think?
Thanks a Million for stopping by today!!!!

La Belle Vie Workshop on the Go was the choice of the month for the workshop/class held yesterday.  These are the cards I created for the workshop.  The color of the paper in this packet is very classy.  I used the stamp set included in the packet along with Jardin  stamp set (see page 39 in the catalog) to add background design to the paper. The ladies made a good choice on their packet and just love the stamp set and paper.

This paper was stamped using the Jardin stamp set to add a butterfly,
writing, flowers and a stamp seal.  The Eiffel tower stamp came with the
workshop on the go set. The heart was made using a punch.

Do you like the bike?  It is part of the Workshop-on-the-Go packet.
The bike was stamped, colored and cut out.
Flower soft was added to the basket to give it a 3-D look of real flowers.

The stamp sentiment says:  Find what brings you joy and go there.

I made a second card same as above but used scrap paper.

On this card you can see the four different kinds of paper
the Le Belle Vie packet includes.  Each one has a different pattern on the back.
All of CTMH pattern paper is two-sided.
Thank you ladies it was a great workshop and wonderful choice of stamp sets.
