Embossed Butterflies

Happy Tuesday to you! Today's cards are made using another embossing folder by Darice. 

I used a pad of white core paper and after I embossed
the paper I ran my sand paper block over the embossed
image to bring out more of the white core.

OWH cards and Package

Happy Friday to you!  Did you get any crafting done this week?  I didn't step a foot into my crafting room this week.  I had a really busy week.  Hopefully I can get some crafting done this weekend.

This is another one of the Penny Black stamps.

Birds

Happy Thursday to you! Today's cards were made for the OWH soldiers. On Tuesday I  mailed the 100 cards to the OWH headquarters.  Yeah!!

The bird stamps are from Hero Arts - Decorative Birds.
This is an older stamp set but the birds are so cute.
I got this in the box of goodies Felicity sent from 
El Paso.  Thank you Felicity. 

I used an embossing folder and scrap paper for
all the cards.

Penny Black Stamps

Happy Wednesday to you.  Can you believe that July is already half over?  Are you enjoying your summer?  Sure hope so! The cards today are made with a Penny Black stamp.  I borrowed a box full of Penny Black stamps from my neighbor Heather.  I have this great idea for a baby album I want to make with all these cute animals.  That will be one of my many on going projects......You know I will always be working on my PHD.....Projects Half  Done!

These cards were made for the OWH. Hopefully
they will make a child smile when they receive it
from their Mom or Dad in the mail.

I used scrap paper and Prismacolor markers.

Embossing Folders

Good Morning! I made these cards using a new embossing folder I bought at Joann's. The embossing folder is by Darcie.  Not that I needed another embossing folder but they were on sale plus I had a coupon. Just can't pass up a good deal....LOL

The paper is a white core CS so once you emboss
it the white shows through. I ran a sanding block
over the CS to bring out more of the white core color.

The happy birthday is a die cut.

On this card I used the back side of the CS
where the white core doesn't show but the
embossing impress is reversed.  

Do you see the difference between the front and back?

The paper was in my single sheet pile so not sure
where its from. I embossed white CS as a background.

Last day of OWH Birthday cards

Happy Thursday to everyone.  Are you tired of seeing these cartoon paper smooches birthday cards?  Today is the LAST DAY!!  

I made 12 different designs using the same
paper, stamps and embossing folders. I then
made about 8 repeats to equal the 20 cards.

OWH Birthday Cards

Hello everyone.  Did you have a wonderful weekend with family, friends, to much food and lots of fireworks?  Sure hope so. All this week I will be sharing these cards below which were part of the 100 cards I made for the OWH soldiers.

One evening I got my crafting groove on and made
 20 cards that night.  Crazy huh?

The stamp set is Paper Smooches- Birthday Buddies.

The paper is double sided sheets made by Pink Paislee
from Hobby Lobby.

These are a couple of cards I made for OWH soldiers.

I used scrap paper and an embossing folder for the
back ground of the card.  The girl stamp is from
Inkadinkado - me&my big ideas. 

For the second card I used the OWH sketch # 231
as my inspiration.
