Birthday

Happy Monday! It's the last Monday in September. Where does the time go? Hope your enjoying the start of our Fall weather. One of my brother-in-laws celebrated his birthday last week, so I made him this birthday card. I have a hard time making masculine cards. I want to add ribbon, flowers, bling and bright pretty paper....(laughing) All the fun stuff on a card. I always tend to lean towards browns and blacks when I make a card for the guys. I guess I could use blues and grays...
All the paper was from my scrap pile.
The only stamp I used was the Ferris
Wheel from SU "Feeling Sentimental"
(It was one of the stamps set I got for a buck)
And the Happy Birthday.

I inked distressed all the edges.

I used foam adhesive on the bottom squares.
Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you have a super great day!

Wedding Card

Happy Monday. We had a out-of-town Wedding last week. This is the card I made.
I used Heartfelt Creation's die cuts.

Each corner is a separate die cut.  I
glued them into each corner. I then cut
a different floral die cut and added it
to the middle.

I added glittered hearts, ribbon and a flower.

Inside the card
Have a wonderful week!

Remembering 9/11

Happy Monday! How is everyone doing today? I have been a busy bee with the grandchildren, my TOPS group and a trip to Washington DC and New York City.  After visiting the 9/11 memorial in person, I realize life is short and we need to be kind to everyone around us. Cherish our families and friends everyday! Today I am sharing some butterfly cards I made for a few of my TOPS friends. We are doing a butterfly contest so I thought the butterfly cards would be perfect.
I used a butterfly embossing folder for the
white background.

I stamped and cut out lots of butterflies.
I added some glitter to make them sparkle.

I made them 3-D by adding butterflies
on top of each other.
Hope your week is filled with beautiful butterflies!
