TOPS Conference

Happy Memorial Day!  Thank you to all the military personnel for the sacrifices you have made for our freedom. Hope your having a super great day.
In April my TOPS group (take off pounds sensibly) had their NM State Conference. Each one of the Chapters had to donate a basket of goodies to be raffled off as a fundraiser for the next year. Our Chapter decided to just donate money, so I made two money wreaths as our donation.

I folded 65 one dollars bills. This wreath had $40.00
on it. I used flower pins to attach the money to the
styrofoam wreath and added flowers and ribbon.

The second wreath had $25.00 on it.

At the last minute our chapter was asked to make
the invites for next years State Conference. The
theme for next year is TOPS is FAN-TASTIC.
I decided to make fans. I printed out the invites
on colored card stock and used a die cut to cut
them out. Some of the ladies helped glue them onto
the Popsicles sticks.
Everything turned out great. Our Wreaths were a big hit. Enjoy your day!

Birthday Card

Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a birthday card I made for my sister Renee. She lives in AZ and I miss her dearly. I probably talk to her more now than I did when she lived here in Albuquerque. (smiling)

I used embossing folders, die cuts a
tag, glitter and embellishments.

Enjoy your day!

Happy Birthday

Happy Monday! Happy Mother's day to all the Mother's out there! Hope you had a restful and enjoyable day! I was pretty bummed because I had to buy Mother day cards this year. Just didn't have time to make any cards.... boo hoo. So, I am sharing a birthday card I made.
The patteren paper I used has a
3-D look to it making this card
an easy card to make.

The butterflies and flower are both
embellishments from the dollar bins
at Michael's.

Inside of the card. The ribbon and lace
are printed on the paper.
Have a wonderful week! God Bless.

Home Sweet Home

Happy May Monday! I can't believe it's already May. Today I am sharing some popcorn gift bags I made for my daughter. She bought a house and had a house warming party last month. She wanted everyone to have a little something as a Thank You for helping her celebrate her new home. Of course we saw tons of things on Pinterest. She purchased candles and we put a sign that read: Thanks for helping me warm my new home. Please enjoy warming yours! It was really cute....Ugh!!! I didn't get a picture of the basket of candles.
I really liked the "Thanks for popping by" popcorn bags I saw on Pinterest, this is my version of them.

Thank goodness for my neighbor Heather, she had
a "House die-cut" I used to cut out lots and lots of
little houses. I printed the saying on card stock, cut them
into 2" strips  and used the SU tag punch for the tops.

The popcorn was from Costco. I purchased three
different kinds and mixed them together.

After gluing on the houses I added the hearts.
The itty bitty, teeny weeny and I am talking
very small hearts are from a line heart punch
from SU. Yes, I glued each one of them...(smiling)
So each of these were made with LOVE!
Thank you for "POPPING" by today. Enjoy your day!
