Tea Time

Hello and Happy Leap Day! One whole extra day to craft. What are you doing with your day? Since it's Monday I am sure everyone is working.  Boo Hoo! Oh well hope your having a good day anyway.  Today I am sharing a card I made for my niece's birthday.  Since she is a tea drinker I thought a tea card would be perfect for her.
I used  purple and white glitter paper.

The tea cups are a die cut from Poppy Stamps-
Teacup Stack.

Inside the first flap.

The next flap folds out to reveal two pockets.  I added
tea in one and a gift card in the other.

I used a cream lace for the boarder of the pockets.
You all enjoy your extra day today.  Make the best of it....do some crafting!

84,600 Seconds

Happy Thursday to you! This month was my turn to do a presentation at my TOPS (weight loss) group, so I did it on TIME.  There is 84,600 seconds in a day.  My TOPS group is currently doing a contest where you have to drink water, exercise and keep a food journal.  I figured this should only take about 10,000 seconds per day. That leaves 74,600 seconds of your day.  I asked them to log how much time they spend working/volunteering, sleeping, eating, family etc. You should try it. You will be surprised how you spend your TIME.  I wish I could spend 28,800 seconds a day crafting. How about you?

As a follow up of my TIME presentation I made
and mailed these clock cards to the ladies.

So I ask you how did you spend your 84,600 seconds today? Thank you for spending your precious TIME with me today!

Doggy Birthday

Happy Thursday! Is everyone having a wonderful week so far?  Have you done any crafting or stamping lately? I have been enjoying punch art cards lately.  It's amazing how talented people are with these paper punches. I saw this cute doggy and just had to try it.  You can visit juliesjapes.blogspot.com to see instructions.
My niece turned five and her birthday theme
was dogs, so this card was perfect.

I like you a "Bot"

Happy Thursday! How is everyone today? It's beautiful and sunny here in Albuquerque. Today I am sharing some Valentine gifts for little kiddos.  I was able to do some crafting with Heather and Debbie last week and we made these cute Robots for our grandchildren. I saw these on Pinterest and just had to make them.
The heads are apple sauce,  the body is apple juice
the feet are nerds or raisins and the arms are
candy sweetarts.

We glued google eyes, heart noses, ribbon and
a hat for the boy.
Heather added a heart over the eye also.  To Cute!

The sayings reads: I like you a 'BOT!
Happy Valentine's Day.
from Grandma

These are cute little gifts for kids.  Happy Valentine's day to you all!

Hugs & Kisses

Happy Monday to you.  Did you all watch the Super Bowl?  Did your team win? I am not into football but Super Bowl always has the best food.  That's what I got for...hee hee Today I am sharing a couple of Valentine cards I made. I made them using what I call cheaters. (pre-made embellishments or stickers)  Hope you enjoy.

I used an embossing folder for the white background.

90th Birthday

Happy Thursday! My Mother-in-law turned 90 years old in January.  She is an amazing lady whom I love very much! We had a big birthday celebration for her with all her family and friends.  It turned out wonderful.  This is the card I made for her.
I used three different colors of glitter paper so the
card really shines.

I stamped and punched the butterflies and added
some glitter to the edges.

I used a die cut for the "happy" & the "th".
The 90 is a sticker.

Hope you have a Super Great Day!

Feel Better

Happy February First! Today I am sharing the last of the Get Well cards I made.  This card is all about the paper.  When I first starting crafting I never understood why my crafting buddies bought so much paper.  Now I understand and I have way to much paper...hee hee
The paper is from a paper pad by DCWV
"The Primrose Stack"

The butterfly is a Martha Steward punch.

I am glad you stopped by today.  Later this week I will share a birthday card I made for my Mother-in-laws 90th birthday.  Have a wonderful week!
