Frozen Birthday Card

Happy Monday! My Granddaughter turned three last week and had a Frozen themed birthday party. To be honest I haven't seen the movie "Frozen". She sings me the songs and names all the characters from the movie. It's so cute. So here is the card I made her.
Trying to decide what picture of Elsa to use was a
challenge for me. I printed this one out and added
glitter to her dress and hair.

Using die cuts, glitter and embossing folder I
finally completed the card.

Inside the card I put Olaf.

Tessa really likes Olaf too. I made a 3D Olaf
for Tessa to play with. She had fun with it.

I added puffy paint to the body, googlyeyes,
liquid glass to his teeth and used a Q-tip for
his nose. He really is cute.

Here is the cake my daughter-n-law made

Have a wonderful Week!

Christmas Thank You Cards

Happy Monday! How is everyone doing today? Did you all make a New Year's resolution(s)? I have promised myself I would craft more and do at least one craft fair this year. Lets see what happens. I made some Christmas thank you cards to send out for all the wonderful gifts we received this year. I have so much to be thankful for and blessed with all my family and friends.
I wanted something simple, Christmasy and easy.
I  had a box of patterned cards that worked perfect
for the background. I only had to cut the white CS

for the front. Easy Breezy.

After stamping them I just sat and colored them
with my grand daughters. It was fun!

Have a super great day. Good luck with your New Year's resolution(s). God Bless!

Dad's 70th Birthday

Happy Monday! In December my Dad turned 70! My sisters and I wanted to plan this big celebration with family and friends but we knew it was not what my dad would enjoy. Instead we had a quiet dinner at my parents house to celebrate such a loving and caring Father. Here is the card I made him.
I used the Stampin Up owl punch and die cuts for the card.

The "70" is number stickers.

Inside the card.
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your day!

Christmas Gifts

Happy Monday. How is everyone today? Are you working on putting away all the Christmas decorations? Every year after all my decorations are packed away I find one more Christmas ball or some kind of decoration. Agghhh! (laughing) Today I am sharing some homemade Christmas gifts. Hope they make you smile!
This is the "Picture Memory Matching Game"
My goal was to make a set for each of my
Nieces kids, some friends and my grand kids.
Ha Ha I only got this one set made. I have
350 days to make them for this Christmas.
I better get started.....(smiling)

I didn't get permission to show my great
nephew's pictures but they came out really cute.

My daughter made this as a Gag gift. Do you all
know what a Yeti is? My Daughter's friend asked her
if us City folk (her friend lives in a small rural area)

would know what this was. Of course I didn't
get it. My daughter laughed so hard. "Yeti" is a very
expensive name brand of coolers and water bottles.
What do I know about name brands? I shop at the
dollar store.......(lauging)

These are my grand daughters hand prints. I
made some salt dough and let Tessa play with it.
She had so much fun. It kept her busy for over
an hour.  She painted both hands. She was so
proud of her hands.  Sharing the world through a
child's eye is the best gift at Christmas and all year.
Thanks for letting me share! Have a super great day!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Happy New Year 2018! Did you all have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends? We hosted Christmas Eve with my husband's family and Christmas day with my family. Kids running everywhere, lots of food and we went Christmas Caroling for the first time. We sounded awful but it was so much fun. Our neighbors enjoyed it as much as we did. Since I was so busy preparing for Christmas and enjoying my grand kids I was not able to post, so I'll be posting Christmas stuff for the next few weeks.
Santa's Pants.
I saw this on Splitcoaststampers and
just had to make them.

As my neighbor Heather would say,
"how can we Up One this project"
 I added the inside black
Santa belt. Attached white fauz fur, leather
textured paper for the belt and shinny paper
for the buckle.

The original instructions used regular CS.

This year I made a photo booth. I used curtains,
on a rod and thumb tacks to attach strings of
lights behind them. I found props from
the dollar store and made a few of my own.
It was so much fun! This is me and my Mom.

The silver Christmas Tree was my
husbands when he was a child. My
Mother-in-law gave it me. It brings
back such great childhood memories.
I had an aunt who had one and I just
loved it as a child and still do.
My sister Jovonna made this veggie tray.
She used a tree shapped styrofoam and
wrapped Char lettuce around it and attached
the broccoli, tomatoes and peppers with
tooth picks. The picture dosen't show it but
it was HUGE. My husband and I ate broccoli
all week. No one wanted to take broccoli home
when there was so many sweets to eat....laughing
Hope your New Year brings you Good Health, Happiness, Joy and lots of time for crafting!
