Baptism Card

Hello! Hope your day is going well.  My granddaughter Tessa was baptized a couple of weeks ago.  She looked so beautiful.  Tessa was baptized with two other babies and all three of them did so well. It was a wonderful night. I am sharing the card I made for Tessa's baptism.
I used two different embossing folders. One for the
back layer and one for the top as a frame.

I used letter die cuts to cut-out her name.

The cross is an embellishment from my stash.

Here is a picture of Tessa at the Church with her Dad and Mom.

You all have a super great week!!

Butterflies..... Butterflies

Hello! How is everyone today?  I am sharing some butterfly note cards I made.  These were easy breezy and very quick to make.  I have been blessed with the opportunity to baby sit for my granddaughter Tessa, She is so much fun and I am enjoying every moment with her.  Since I am on "Tessa Time" I have less time for crafting these days. As you know I have been posting less and less these days.  I appreciate all my blog friends for stopping by my blog and letting me share my crafts with you.  I hope you will continue to stop by once a week to see what I have created.  Remember I am on "Tessa Time" so my posting my be far and in between but I will always have something to share.
I am just loving the Butterfly Thinlits dies from SU.
I used scrap paper and CTMH stamp sets to make

these cards.

Thank you for looking and letting me share my crafts.  Have a super great week. Hope you find some time for crafting! God Bless

A little birdie told me....

Hello! How is your day going so far?  Wonderful I hope.  So do you keep old files or print outs of card ideas you intend to make?  I have lots of those laying around my craft room.  This is one of those ideas I saw on Splitcoaststampers.  A card with a detachable book marker.
The paper is from DCWA - The Primrose.
It's a beautiful paper packet.  I made a mini
album using this paper and it came out so pretty.
Of course I haven't finished yet but when I do
I will share pictures.

The flowers are from The paper Studio and the lace
was from a garage sale.

On the inside of the card you see the book
marker on the right side.

A close up of the book marker.

Here you see the book marker folded out.  It will
detach from the card to be kept and used
while reading your favorite book.  I have a perforated
edge cutter on my paper cutter to make the cut.
Hope you find time for crafting this week.  Happy Stamping.

Butterfly

Happy Wednesday!  How was your 4th of July?  Lots of food, fireworks and fun I am sure.  My family all got together and had a BBQ and lots of fireworks. We had a great time.  Today I am sharing a butterfly card with you.  I made this for a friend of mine who was having a bad day.  I hope it makes her feel better.
The stamp set is from CTMH........
"When life is too much to stand...."

The butterfly was made using the SU
butterfly thinlits die.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a super great day!

Bridal Shower

Happy Monday!  Get your coffee or water because today's post is a long one.  I have pictures from the shower to share and some candles I covered as gifts for the guests.
I started with a box of jarred scented candles.

Brittny (bride) printed out labels with the wedding
date and last names.  I attached the label to black
Card stock.  The wedding colors are black,
white and champagne

I glued white lace to a piece of black card stock,
then glued the CS to the candle and then attached
the label.

This is the best gift I have ever seen for a wine lover.
It's such a great gift for the bride and groom. Each
bottle of wine has a tag for different occasions:
honeymoon, first Christmas Eve, first fight,
first baby etc. along with a cute saying for each tag.

My sister Lisa made her beautiful cookies.

Here are the candles.

This is a picture of my Mom, Brittny and my 90
year old Grandma Mary.

We played the bride dress game.  We had four groups
and each group had one person be the bride.  Using
toilet paper we had to make the bride a dress.

Brittny is posing with all the brides and their
beautiful dresses.

This is Isabella (my niece) with Brittny. She is the flower girl.
She wanted a bridal dress so we made her a dress too.

This is a picture of me, Brittny and Brittny's  Mom Lorenza.
(by the way this is how Brittny spells her name, it's not a typo)
Sorry for the long posting.  Hope you enjoy your day!  Happy Stamping.

Happy 4th of July!!!

Made this last minute before I was walking out the door to my sisters house.  I hated to just take the sparklers in a box so I made center pieces out of them.  Hope you all enjoy your 4th of July.  Have fun and be safe!!!
Buckets, ribbon and flags all at the Dollar store.

God Bless you!!  God Bless America!

Bridal Card

Happy July 1st! Half the year is already gone.  It's time to start your Christmas shopping and Christmas cards....(Laughing)  No Christmas cards today but I am sharing a bridal card I made for my daughter-in-law to be.  The bridal shower was this past weekend and we had a fun time.
The stamp is from Stamping bella-
Uptown girl Brigitte the bride. I think this
stamp is a really cute.

I used an embossing folder for the boarder. I stamped
the dress a second time on embossed paper from
the wedding invites and cut it out to add a layer
to the dress.

I topped it all off with  tulle, pearls,
a silk flower and Stickles on the bouquet.

Inside the card.

I stamped the outside of the envelope.
Check back later this week and I will share some pictures from the bridal shower.  Enjoy your day!
