Got Buttons?  This card is a quick and easy card using buttons.   I have tins filled with different shapes and colors of buttons.  When my kids were young they loved to go through the tins of buttons and separate them by colors and shapes.   Now that I would really like them to be separated I bet I couldn't get them to do it....LOL

The saying is from CTMH "Tailor-Made" stamp set.

Hoping your day is filled with colorful buttons to hold all the love and happiness in your heart ....

So what do you think of this little guy?  Cute huh?  Debbie made a card using him on one of our Wednesday card nights many moons ago.  So of course we all had to have him and because she is so kind she gave each of us one.  It's been awhile since I pulled him out to play.

I stamped and colored him first.  Added a touch of blue for back ground.
Then added the glitter and  attached the saying.

The saying  is a CTMH stamp set.
I attached google eyes to really make it pop.
God made each of us special and unique but if we "Share our similarities, celebrate our differences" what a peaceful and loving world we would live in......God Bless!!

Happy Monday to you.  Mondays always seem to roll around faster then Fridays don't you think? I'm sharing another Rubbernecker character with you today.  This one is very colorful using the paper from American Girl pad.  (you see the pad is sitting on the floor next to my crafting table so its just so convenient to reach...LOL) I don't have any "Bowling Pin" stamps so I cheated and used my computer to print out the bowling pins.  I colored her with Prismacolor markers, cut her out and attached with form tape.  The saying
is  also a Rubbernecker stamp.

Wishing you a week filled with many strikes and not to many gutters....

Today I am sharing a card I made using a new stamp set from "Pure Innocence for My Favorite Things"  I saw this stamp set in one of the craft magazine and feel in love with it.

I used  Prismacolor markers and the paper is from the
 "American Girl" packet.
I think she is just so adorable.
I will be using her for my Halloween crafts...Have a Super Great day!!!!

I pulled out my Rubbernecker cartoon characters and I have been coloring away.  These characters are so much fun!!  Rubbernecker also has many quotes and sayings to go along with their characters.  You can go by the Hen House and see some of them for yourself.

I stamped the golfer and colored him first using Prismcolor  pencils.
I colored the ground in browns and greens and I drew in the grass.
The leaves were stamped and then color was added. Using a
sponge I added the blue sky and glued it onto CS and pattern paper.
Lastly I attached the ribbon, saying and brads.
Tonight is going to be another no show for me at the Ladies card night.  Hope to make it back soon.

I know you are probably thinking you just saw this card on my blog and you are right.  I posted one similar to it in July but this one was made for my son Robert who celebrated his 27th birthday this month.  He is not much of a sweet eater so I made cup cakes instead of a birthday cake. (he didn't get the no eating sweets  from his parents..). Here are a few photos.  While maybe more then a few photos..... .LOL

Inside of the card

Using the scallop and circle punch I made these cup cake toppers.
I stamped the foot and the happy birthday.  I  used ink to distress
and add color then glued them onto tooth picks.

Here are the cup cakes.

Here is the stamp set.
You will find it on page 84 of the CTMH spring/summer catalog.
Item #A1127 for only $6.95.

This is Robert and my daughter Stephanie.
(The lighting in the restaurant was terrible so I only have a few good pictures)
This is Robert's girlfriend Rena and her niece Mila.
The Mariachis came back later to our table and sang
 Happy Birthday to Robert.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my son's birthday with you.  Have a super great day!!

So I had to do just one more "Old MacDonald Farm" booklet card.  They are just so darn cute!!!

The paper is from CTMH. and I used a punch to make the
outlined edges.

This is the inside of the dimensional sticker booklet.  These are so adorable
I wish I would have gotten more.
Hope you find time to craft and relax this week...

I love to use blue and brown together.  Here I embossed blue paper and layered it on cream and brown.  I added brown ribbon and CTMH resin flowers from the "Bouquet Assortment"

Wishing you a fabulous weekend!!

So here is another card using the "Old MacDonald's Farm" dimensional..

The paper is from a packet in the dollar bin at Michael's.

You can see how the booklet sits on the card

Here is what the booklet looks like open.  You can write a
note inside.  How cute is that?
I am sure these were made to be used in a baby book to journal on.  It would be a good baby card to put in a scrap book.   Thanks for dropping by.

Today's card is made using some stickers I found at Smiths grocery store in their clearance bin for .50 cents.    They are "Old MacDonald's Farm" dimensional designs tags and booklets by Michele Ackerman, Paper Adventures.  They came in a package of 8 stickers. They are really cute!

Used an embossing folder, a punch for the flower, added ribbon
 and the  dimensional.
Very easy card.

Close up of the tag.  Cute huh?
I will not be at Ladies Card Night tonight but I am sure Dee will share cards on her blog later in the week.  Make sure to check back tomorrow for the other card I made using the Booklet that came in this packet.  Have a super great day!!

Most of the schools here in Albuquerque will be back in full swing by tomorrow.  I decided to use the left over ABC teacher paper to cover some hand sanitizers.  All teachers would be happy to receive these to keep handy on their desks.

I added the "thanks so very much" stamp saying and some ribbon.
Remember to slow down for all the schools zones and be safe. Hope your 2012-2013 school year is filled with fun, lots of learning and little stress!!!! God Bless.

So I was out shopping last week and stopped at Marshall's.  It has been years since I was in this store. I was just browsing the isles when I stumbled upon their crafting supplies. I was really excited. I didn't know they had crafting supplies. This is probably old news to all of you but to me it was great. I found a pad of 150 pages of American Girl paper.  It is filled with such beautiful paper and it only cost me $4.99.  What a steel of a deal. Just what I needed another store to buy crafting supplies...LOL  So here is the card I made using the paper.

The flower is a punch and the yellow center is a sticker (both from Michael's)
The saying is a clear sticker and the butterfly is made from a punch.

So I hope you find a great buy out there and share your findings with us..  Sending you hugs and butterfly kisses....

Happy Friday to you!!!  This card was created using the CTMH Florentine workshop on the Go kit. This was part of my left over cuttings from the workshop I had last month.

Hope you have a Great weekend!!!

Everyone knows that I like to collect jars, containers, boxes etc to make things with them.  I have always wanted to make a bible scripture/inspiration jar.  It's like the Advent calendar at Christmas or the candy jar 25 day count down to Christmas.  So here is my  "Daily Inspiration" Jar.

This jar was given to me by my sister Renee.  Can't remember what she
buys that comes in the jar but she has several of them.  Thanks Renee!

I printed inspirational quotes on 3 different colored paper and cut them up.

Here is the top of the jar.  I printed "My Daily Inspiration" on my
computer and used a die cut to cut it out.

Front of the jar.
The paper is from Memory Box, the flower a punch and the
center of the flower is "Sparklers" designer buttons from the Hen House.

Side view of the jar.
I used smaller flowers, added bling and green leaves.

Here is the jar filled with the inspiration quotes

Inside the jar without the lid.

As soon as I get all the bible scriptures typed up I will be making a "Daily Scripture Jar" or Advent Jar.  Thanks for stopping by today and sharing a few moments of your day with me!!

Today I am sharing yet another turtle craft. I covered a composition book and  made a book marker.   These are great gifts and hot items at craft fairs.  They are very easy and fun to make.
This is the mini composition book.

These books come in packs of three.  They measure 4.5 x 3.25.

Here is a book marker I made using some of the same paper.
The flower is also a felt sticker.

So here is a picture of all the items together.
They will make  great gift sets

Thanks for popping in and checking out my blog.  No Wednesday card night tonight but we will return next week with our creations....Enjoy your day!!

The first day of school is just around the corner.  Those of you who have school children at home are  counting down the days....LOL  My daughter goes back to college in about 2 weeks and I am going to miss her so much!!   I pulled out my teacher paper and made a few school items.

 Another Post-It-Note.
These scissors and ruler are just so adorable.
I have post-its on the brain.
I am so ready with Post-it-notes for my next craft fair...LOL

These are gift holders.  The close pins are from the dollar bin at
Michael's.  The close pin on the school bus is a chalk board. You
can  write the teachers name on it. How cool its that!!

Side view of the boxes/gift bags
Here they are all together.
Hope you have s good week!!!
