Another Manly Card

Happy Monday!  How was your weekend? Hope your having a wonderful day so far! Today I am sharing another masculine card I made.
The paper is from Tim Holtz.

I made these embellishments using a round
piece of card stock and twine.

A Guy's Birthday Card

Happy Thursday. I had lots of September Birthdays. I made this card for my brother-in-law's birthday.  I still have a hard time making manly cards.  Bows, bling and butterflies are so much more fun.  I feel like I can only use browns, greens or dark colors for masculine cards. I need to work on using other colors and themes.
The paper is from a Tim Holtz collections.

The stamps are from Close to My Heart.

The happy birthday banner came with the eyelet in
place already so I added twine to attach it to the card.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Broncos Birthday Party

Last weekend we went to a birthday party with the theme being "Bronco's Football".  It was really cute.  Everyone was encouraged to wear their favorite football team jersey.  Lots of Bronco and Dallas fans out there.  As for me I don't do football, I much rather craft than watch football.....
Here is the invitation we received for the
birthday party.  It's a football admission ticket.
Really cute!

I cute up the invite to make the birthday card.

The field was made using green burlap and twine.
I stamped numbers and used a round punch, then
glued it all together. The football is confetti  I had

left over from a Superbowl party we had one year.

The Happy Birthday was a die cut.

Inside the card.

The sewed end of the green burlap made perfect grass.
I thought I would share with you a
picture of my Granddaughter Tessa.
Earlier this month she went to her first
Broncos Football Game in Denver. Mom and
Dad said she slept during most of the game.
Maybe she will take after me and
want to craft instead of watch football....hee hee
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog.  You all have a super great day!!!

Note Card

Hello everyone!  Can you believe we are already half way through September? The Holiday's are just around the corner. Today I am sharing another card I made using the left over paper from DCWV "Primrose" paper packet.
Using ink I distressed all the paper and card stock
pieces before I put them together.

This butterfly tag came with the paper.  I used a
die cut to make the banner tag.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Happy Stamping!

Thinking of you

Happy Thursday.  How is everyone doing today? Usually after doing a project I have cut up pieces of paper left over. I hate to throw them away so I kept them with hopes to use them some day.  So what do you do with your left over paper?  Please share with me how you organize your paper.  Mine is out of control and I would love some tips.  I made today's card using some of the left over paper from the photo album I share earlier in the week.
I stamped "Thinking of you" onto the butterfly
tag and attached it to the background paper of the card.

The paper has glitter on the left side. Can you see it?

I used a die cut for the leaves. The flower was to
white so I added some distress ink to it.

This is one of many tags in the DCWV Primrose  paper packet.
Have a super great day!

Happy Labor Day!

Good Morning Everyone.  Hope you're enjoying your day off from work. Today's posting has lots of pictures.  Sorry for such a long posting. I finally finished this photo album.  I started this album sometime last year.  To tell you the truth I have three albums in the works right now that I started last year. I get the base of the albums done but never follow through with the decorating part.  In fact on this photo album, I left the pages just  the way they were without adding embellishments except for the cover.  I guess I could always go back and add some....hahaha
This is the front of the book.
The paper packet I used is from Joann's
DCWA-The Primrose Stack.  It has lots of
glitter paper and tags.  Although I only used
one tag in the album.

The flowers are from Recollections and I used a
die-cut to cut out leafs and swirls.
I left the label blank so
the person who receives/buys the book can
add their name or a subject to match the pictures.

Side of the Album.
I added a flower and some charms.

First page of the inside.
Each page is the same. They each have a pocket
with an insert and a pull out tap at the top.

I attached a fold-out insert to the inside covers
of the album.

This is what one of the inserts looks like.  Both
sides have pattern paper to add pictures or journaling.

The page on the left is the only page I used a tag.
A picture can be inserted into the tag.

Here is one of the pull out tag insert along with
a two page fold out.

All the inserts and pull out tags have pattern
paper on both sides.  I also used Tim Holtz inks
to distress all the pages.

The album measures 7 X 5 inches so the 5 X 7
photos will fit nicely without much trimming.

Here the insert and tap are inside the pockets.
Below they are pulled out.

Last page.
I didn't show you the whole book because you would be here all day.  (I am sure you are glad for that...Hee Hee!!) Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your week!  God Bless.
