Remodel Craftroom

Happy Thursday. How is your week going so far? Can you believe it's the last week of April? My May calendar is already full so it's going to be a busy May. I mentioned that my husband and I are remodeling our house. We are replacing our carpets with bamboo floors so I thought I would share my craft room with you.
Here is my craft room with all my crafting stuff removed.

I should have taken pictures with all my items in
place before I packed everything up.
I will share when it's all done.

My three cabinets and the other side of the closet.
During the packing period. Oh Dear!!  What a
mess!  The one thing I realized is I am a collector
of everything....Hoarder!! LOL
The bamboo floors and painting done. Yuppie!
Boy has this been a eye opener. I have way to much stuff!!  I am going to reorganize my room so I will selling some of my current  containers and paper holders etc. Have a wonderful weekend!

Melting Dots

Happy Monday. While attending my neighbor's crafting group last month the ladies had a show-n-tell. Dee shared this great idea for bling using melting dots.
All the crafting stores sell these melting dots.
They come in large bags so you may want to
share a bag with your crafting buddies.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Put parchment
paper on a cookie sheet. Stand up and space the dots
on the parchment paper.

Close up of the dots. Sorry about the shadow.
Bake for 20 mins. Check after 10-15 mins since
all ovens are different.

Let them cool completely and they are ready to use.
You can use a glue dot or glue to attach them.
Lots of colors for your crafting needs.

Before and after picture.
Dee has a blog that you can check out: deedstercreateandenjoy.blogspot.com. Hope you have a good week!

For You

Happy Monday! How is everyone doing today?  My husband and I have been busy working on remodeling our house, which includes my craft room. I will share some pictures next week. As I was packing up my craft room I came across some embellishments I had made for a craft fair. I had put them on top of jarred candles. I thought it would make a quick and easy card.

The "For You" is a SU stamp and I added  glitter,
 a flower and bling.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your time with me. Enjoy your day!

Graduation

Happy Thursday! It's that time of the year for all the graduations. A few of us got together at Heather's house (my neighbor) and did some crafting. We had so much fun. Here is a card she designed for us to put together.
Heather used die cuts for the whole card. Sorry I
didn't get the makers of the die cuts.

When I glued the red CS onto the black card, I
made a mess! You could see glue all over the black
CS. When I got home I sprayed the whole card with
a silver shimmer mist to hide the glue.  It worked
like a charm.

Inside the card.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

With Sympathy

Happy Monday to you! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am sharing a sympathy card I made using a stamp set from Stampin' UP.  I think using water colors on this stamp image would look beautiful, I'll have to try that next time.
I used an embossing folder for the white CS and
scrap pattern paper for the top half.

You all have a super great week!

Bag and Card

Happy Thursday! How is everyone doing today?  A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to my neighbors craft group. They had a show-n-tell and one of the ladies shared a die cut for your cards to hang outside a gift bag.  I really loved this idea because you don't have to use an envelope for the card.  I didn't want to buy the die cut so this is my version of the bag and card holder.
I took a brown lunch bag, covered the front and
back with pattern CS and I added a ribbon handle.

This is the card hanging from the outside of the bag.

Here is what the bag looks like without the card.

This is a die cut from Heartfelt Creations. I used a
straight die cut to cut the slit to insert the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Happy Stamping.

Heartfelt Creations

Happy Monday.  Did you have a good weekend?  Sure hope so. I am sharing a card I made using die cuts from Heartfelt Creations.  I promised myself I would use all the items I purchased from the Stamp convention this year.  Your probably thinking "how much did she buy"? I know it seems like a lot but compared to what I purchased at the 2015 convention it's not....hee hee
I stamped the flowers on white CS, cut them out using
the matching die cut and then used inks to color them.

I added some glitter to the ends. Oops I forgot to add
the bling in the middle of the flower.

The leafs are a Heartfelt Creations die cut.
Most of Heartfelt Creations stamps have the matching die cuts. So is that a good thing or a bad thing? GOOD of course!!   (laughing) Have a super great day!
