These turtle stickers are just so darn cute!!  I made some Post-it-Note holders with them.
This paper come in 5x7 sheets of bright pattern and solid colors.
I got them in the dollar bin at Micheal's years ago and never
used them.  The colors go well with the turtles.

Hello!  Happy Friday to you!!  Hope you had a super great week.  Today I am using a CTMH
stamp set "A Garden" that I purchased to make gift tags. (see last two pictures)

My brother-in-law Tyson who had the brain surgery is almost completely recovered.  If you didn't know him before you would never know he has slowed down a bit.  He can do everything he did before the surgery just some what slower.  Thank you, Thank You for all your prayers and support!!  To celebrate his great recovery and take a breather him and my sister Lisa went away for a few days. I baby sat my niece Isabella (Izzie).  Here are a few pictures of our stay together.

Having a snack

Outside playing in the rocks.  She just loves those rocks.

Having dinner after a late nap.  Look at that wild hair.

Izzie is helping water the flowers.

She is having a snack.  She just loves broccoli.

The butterflies are from Recollections-glitter tape.  I found them in  one
of the clearance bins at Michael's. First time using them and I really like them.
Here's a close up.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and letting me share Izzie with you!!  Have a good weekend.

I made this card using a CTMH stamp that came with the "Celebration"  paper package.   I just hate to say it but I have had this stamp set for over a year.  I am keeping my word and creating this week with stamp sets I have never used and just had to have...LOL

I used scrap paper I had, added the ribbon, stamped the "Celebrate"  and
attached the stars.  (not sure where I got the stars).  Using a pencil I wrapped the red
wire around the pencil and made the spiral.  Attached them to the stars and flattened
them out against the card.

This was a very easy and quick card.  Card night was called off tonight everyone is just to busy or out of town.  Thanks for checking in today.  Have a wonderful day today!!

Here is a masculine card using the CTMH stamp set "A Journey" I never have enough cards for the men in my life.  I will be making a few others using this stamp set.  I just love those foot steps.
I stamped the leaves on the CS and using Tim Holt's distress ink, distressed the card inside and out.
Using CTMH paper because of it's white core, I embossed, tore, sanded, wrinkled and inked the
brown  CS. I stamped "Life is a journey and the foot steps, distressed and added the twine.
Inside the card

Hope today's life journey sends you over bridges to new and exciting adventures.

This card was made using a SU stamp set I got at the Hen House swap meet a few months ago. My goal this week is to use stamp sets that I have purchased this year and not used. I know there are some of you out there that do the same thing.  You want a stamp set really bad then you don't have the time to use it. LOL

I used an embossing folder for the edges, stamped the green  vine, stamped the
flowers and added bling to them.  The "Celebration No.__" is a CTMH stamp set.
The bird is from a dollar bin at Michael's

Inside the card
I hope this week you can find time to craft, laugh and just have fun!!!

Today I am sharing a Tea Cup Thank you card.  It's made to look like a cabinet with tea cups inside.

I stamped the doors with a background stamp and sponged
blue and purple ink to add color. I added a punched purple
edge and added two silver brads for handles.

Peek inside the cabinet and see the tea cups.

Open doors showing the tea cups and the saying "A cup of  Thanks"
The tea cups were made using a SU stamp then cut out and glued
with foam tape to make them really pop out.
Today I hope you can seat and enjoy a cup of tea with a old friend or just take a moment for yourself to just rest and relax.  Have a great weekend!!

Yesterday I had a workshop using the Workshop on the Go Florentine kit.  The paper is just beautiful. Of course we ate, talked and just had a great time.  Thank you ladies for coming!

This workshop was based on using embossing folders.
This is  a Sizzix  embossing folder.

The flowers were left over from my nieces June Wedding.
There was no stamping involved in this card.  The paper speaks for itself.

Using the left over paper we made a book marker, added ribbon,
a button and stamped "Grateful for You".

This embossing folder is also from Sizix.  The stamp set is CTMH
"A Tree"

A close up of the embossing leaves. CTMH paper has a white core so
when embossed the white core shines through.
Sending you a cool and shady day filled with hugs and smiles!!

I love to make book markers.  They make wonderful gifts because one size fits all. These were made using the CTMH Pemberley workshop on the Go kit.

I used a Rubbernecker stamp for the saying.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!

Earlier this week I had a make-up class for one of my Workshops.  Iliana is a newbie to card making and she is doing such a wonderful job.  I wanted to share with you a card she made.  I gave her a blank piece of CS and told her to make her own creation using her new stamp set.

She added glitter to the dragonfly and bling to the flowers.

Great job Iliana.  I have enjoyed having you in my workshops and I look forward to seeing all you new creations!

Heather's card
What a elegant card. The flower was cut using a Memory Box
die cut.  Gold flower soft was added to the middle of the flowers.
Great Card.

Marie's card

The paint looks real!!  The inside of the card reads:

Made using her Cricut.  She is just adorable!!  Putting her together
was like playing paper dolls again.
I love it!

Marti's second card
We hand stamped this paper.  Can you believe it?
We used 7 different stamps to create this look.
Wow,  Marti you did an excellent job!!

My Card

mine look pretty simple....

Happy Wednesday to you!!  My sisters Renee and Jovonna have been working on cards and other items to celebrate "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead). For those of you who don't know this is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration takes place on October 30th in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saints' day and All Souls' Day (November 2nd). So your probably wondering why they are making items in July for a celebration that takes place in October.  For those of you who know my sister Renee this is her favorite thing to create all year long.

This stamp is  just so cute.

Jovonna took samples of these cards to the merchants in "Old Town" here in Albuquerque and one of the Merchants purchased 20 of them. Wow!!  He told her if they sell he will purchase more from them.  They are so excited and I am so happy for them. I am finally going to made Ladies Card Night tonight!! Yeah!! So make sure you check back on Thursday so I can share all the great cards they made!!

Today I am sharing some Post-It-Notes covers I made.  I went kind of crazy and made lots and lots of them.  I am trying to gear up for craft fairs coming up soon.

The paper is from my scrap pile.  The flowers are from Michael's
dollar bins and the sayings are Bible Scriptures stickers from Hobby Lobby.

These are very easy to make.  The Post-it-Notes them self are the
only costly part of  making these.  They are usually a hot
item at my craft fairs.  I sell them for $2.50 each.

Here I used a CTMH stamp and added the sticker Bee's and button.

My niece got married the last Saturday of June. We made her programs for the wedding ceremony using purple and green CS. We embossed the bottom right hand side with flowers, added a flower with a pearl and attached the inside program with ribbon.  Here are some of the pictures....

The wedding was just perfect and my niece was so beautiful. All the flowers were handmade by my very talented sister-in-law Lydia, the bride, mother of the bride, her sister and my daughter.  I showed up late and only made the bows.  They did such a wonderful job!!!   I will share more pictures after the happy couple return from their honeymoon.  May your week be filled with beautiful flowers, smiles and hugs.
