Box of Sunshine

Today I am sharing a "Box of Sunshine".  One of the ladies from my TOPS group is undergoing chem-therapy for breast cancer.  She said it's kicking her butt. So I decide to bring some sunshine to her from
all the ladies at TOPS.
I printed this sign and put it along with a note
and some funny cartoons in hopes it will bring
smiles to her day. (it really is bright yellow paper)

This is what the box looks like inside filled with all the stuff.

This is a "Bowl of Sunshine".  The Tops lady wrote words
of encouragement for her.
I covered Pop Corn, Tic Tac's and water bottles.

I added some tea, candy, klenexx and hand soap.
One of the ladies asked me to add this to the box.  She wanted her
to know that she always had an Anel kneeling down to pray for her.
Sending you all a BIG box of Sunshine today.  Thank you for stopping by!

Embossing Folders

Happy Wednesday to you.  Here are a couple of yellow and black birthday cards with a touch of pink.
The butterfly is a die from Memory Box.

I used a embossing folder to add the flowered texture.

Two different embossing folders were used on this card.

Hope your day is filled with Sunshine and butterflies.

Baby Shower Invitations

Hello!  Get your coffee or tea because today is a long post.  I was asked to make baby invitations for my daughters friend Emily.  She stopped by and gave me some examples of what she wanted.  She showed me a Onesie, a Diaper and a single non-shaped card.  Emily is having a girl but she doesn't like the color pink.  For me that was going to be a challenge.  Of course I called Heather to borrow her baby die cuts and punches. Here are the baby invite samples.
The elephants are made with a punch.

This is a Sizzix die cut.

I made this diaper free hand.  I looked on line for samples
and templates but I didn't like any of them.  I have to say
this is my least favorite just because I wasn't feeling it.

I just think this safety pin is so cute.

How adorable is that little baby face?

This is also a die cut from Sizzix.

The Onesie is my favorite.  Again I went on line to view
templates but ended up making my own template.

This was my first attempt using a circle punch to cut
out the legs...Didn't like it.  Below I just free had cut
the whole thing and liked it much better.

The duck and giraffe is a die cut. The bib is a oval
die cut.

So leave me a comment and let me know what invite you like the best.  Enjoy your day!

Clip Boards

Happy Monday to you.  I got this saying in my email box this morning and just had to share it with you. The crazy thing is I was at the craft store on Saturday and guess who I ran into?  Heather. (my neighbor) She had a hand full of stamps and I had a basket full of paper...LOL  Did we need those things NO but it was all 50% off.  It was so funny I felt like I got caught with my hand in the cookie jar.....LOL  Next 50% off sale we will just ride together.  hee hee

Today I am sharing the clip boards I made for some of my nephew and nieces for Christmas.  Some of you may have already seen them at the workshop or open house but thought I would share them on my blog.  Have a super great day today and enjoy your week!!

The letters are wood from hobby lobby.  I added
glitter and then used Mod Podge to seal it.

I added glitter to the clip to make it sparkle.

I need to add some glitter to the back of the clip
where the black is showing, don't you agree?

On this letter I just added ink and glitter
and then sealed it with the Mod Podge.

The coving for this board was made using
masking tape, then I added ink and Mod Podge.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Music Flip Card

It's Friday.  February is almost over I can't believe it. Here is the other card I made  using the sizzix flip die cut.  I made this card for my niece Nicole for her 21st birthday.
I got this sheet music from a garage sale a long time
ago.  I finally got the nerve to cut it up.

I left the back side of the circle blank so I could write on it.

May you find time to listen to music and craft this weekend. God Bless

Flip Card

Happy Thursday to you.  I pulled out my Sixxiz circle flip die cut and made a couple of cards.  This is the first card using lots of bling on red CS with black and white paper.

Later in the day I looked outside and saw some red stuff on
my grass.  So to my surprise I found what was left of my card.
I guess this was my
grand dogs favorite card or maybe its
the color red..
..LOL  So now my craft room is off limits to
the grand dogs.  They have taken my ribbon to play with before
but never my cards.....LOL
Hope you have a super great day!!  Thank you for stopping by.

Paper Quilling

Happy Wedneday to you!!  Todays card is made by my niece Katrina.  She is very talented with her paper quilling.  It's such a beautiful card.

Look at that detail and how each  of the flower buds
are perfect.

Thanks for letting me share your card Katrina.  Hope you all have a super great day!
