Life is good.....

Happy Thursday to you!!  My son Robert turned 28 on the 5th of August.
He rides his bike to work almost everyday so I made him his birthday card using a bike stamp.
The stamps are a CTMH set.  I used a embossing folder
to emboss the white clouds on top.

I added bling to the center of the tires.  I used a glitter pen
to add sparkle to the bike.

I used another embossing folder to emboss the blue CS.

Inside the card.  Don't you just love the small bike stamp.
It's from CTMH stamp.   The saying is from SU.
Hope LIFE IS GOOD for you these days!!

Baby Boy

Today I am sharing a boys baby card with you.  Yeah I was able to get into my craft room and make a couple of cards.  It felt good to be back in my craft room again.

The bear and shoes are embellishments from Jolee's Boutique.
He is just adorable.

Inside the card.

I used the baby feet to make a water mark as a background.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a fabulous day!

Here is another project I made for the Bridal shower.  It's a bowl for the prize drawings we had. Like always I collect all kinds of plastic containers. hee hee.  (Boy has the laundry detergent come along way.....)
I removed the paper sticker off the container.  I free hand cut
the white CS and then stamped the gray swirls using a CTMH stamp.

I glued the CS onto the container and attached the
hearts and flowers.

Not sure where the hearts and flowers are from but they are stickers.

On the back side I used pink CS and only one heart.

I think the gray ink on the pink CS looks great.

These are the center pieces I made for the tables.
I took a drinking glass from my cabinet.  (I never used these
small glass and I have tons of them) I put a few pink gems on
the  bottom, tied a piece of tulle around the glass in a
knot and then added the flowers.

I got the flowers from "Sams" you get two dozens for only $9.88.
I made 15 center pieces costing me only about $2.00 a piece.  The
flower shops would have charged me $10.00 to $15.00 a piece.
hee hee I am always looking for a great deal!!

Hope your having an amazing day today!!!  Take some time to relax and spend time with family.

Wedding Scratch Tickets

Today I am sharing some homemade Wedding scratch tickets I made for the bridal shower.
I thought they would make a fun game at shower.
Here are the items used to make the scratchier's.

I uploaded a picture of a dress, added a saying and the date
of the shower.  I then printed them on CS and cut them out.
On eight of the cards I left a flower bouquet at the bottom of the dress.
These became the winning scratch tickets.  On the other 100 tickets
I typed Rob & Rena on them.

Using a white crayon I colored the heart area where I am going to add
the pink paint to be scratched off.
I mixed one part paint to two part dish soap then painted the white
colored hearts
and let them dry over night.

The finished Wedding Scratch Ticket.

So let me tell you what I did.  Now keep in mind I am making enough for
100 people.  The scratchier on the left was the first one I created.
I printed, cut, colored them using the white crayon.  I had just finished adding
the paint to 25 of them when I noticed the date.   Now keep in mind how many
times I looked at these with all the cutting and coloring I did.  Three of my
family members also looked over them.  As I was painting them I noticed the
date was wrong.  I put "2103" as the year. "OH DEAR"!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was devastated to say the least.   My family said to just leave them that no one would notice.  I slept on it
for two days and decided to redo them.  This time I made them much small and
added the heart instead of the round blog of paint.  Much better the second time...LOL

You all have a wonderful day filled with smiles and laughs.

Wedding Wishing Tree

It's Friday are you ready for the weekend?  I am sure you will be glad when I am done with this Wedding and Bridal shower crafting. You are probably tired of seeing all my little projects.  While today I am sharing one more.   God willing I hope to start up on card making again next week.
This is a card board paper tree I purchased from Oriental Trading.

Very simple but to plain for me so I had to do something to it.
The tree has two pieces that slide into each other.

I covered the tree with Mod Podge and poured
glitter over the whole tree.  Sprayed a sealer to keep the
glitter in place.

Close up of the glitter leaves. It really sparkles now.  Yeah!!

I printed the saying on CS "The key to a happy marriage is...."
and used a die cut to cut them out. I added the shimmer ribbon
to the
back for hanging.

As our guest enter the Bridal shower they will write words of wisdom for the Bride & Groom.
Since the tree is in two parts Rena's sister is going to frame each tree along with the advice cards.  Rena and Robert will then have a wonderful keepsake with great advice. Thanks for stopping by today .  Have a super great weekend!!  God Bless
