Happy New Year!

Happy 2013!!!  Did you stay up and ring in the new year? 

 Sure hope you had fun and safe New Year.

Heather my neighbor took some card classes while she was visiting her sister Felicity a few months ago.  Heather and I finally got together a few weeks back and made all the cards she did in her classes.  This is one of my favorite cards from her class. 

The flower is stamped on vellum and cut out.  The color strip was made
by taping 1/2 inch strips of colored CS onto a 81/2 X 11 sheet of CS.
It was then stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder.
We then cut  and attached it to the black CS. 

It's just so colorful and beautiful.
