The last day of April and the flowers are blooming the grass is green and the sun is shining. Today I am sending you some sunshine....

This is a water bottle cover.  I make a lot of bottle covers
for my craft fairs.

These are great for kids parties or sports functions.
As I was writing about the water bottle covers I remembered the
covers I made for my son Robert's high school soccer team.
They are just darling!!
I made those soccer team water covers over 10 years ago.  I used a plastic template for scrapbooking and traced them onto construction paper.  I cut out each part by hand, (That was before I owned any die cuts and machines.) assembled each piece together and added each one of the teams faces.   Crazy looking back now how long that took me to make them. LOL  What's even crazier is I knew exactly were to find it after all these years.... Yesterday I couldn't find my eye glasses and I just had them on....  ha ha.  (I am showing my age) hee hee Thanks for stopping by and you have a SUPER GREAT week filled with lots of fun and Sunshine....

I don't know about you but I just don't have enough masculine cards.  For me they are just not as much fun to make. (sorry guys)  I got this stamp set from CTMH in hopes I would create more manly cards.
Here is one I created so far....
The paper has a look of leather and it came in a paper packet
from  Costco  many moons ago.  The Stamp Set is CTMH  "Born to Ride".

Inside of the card.
This can be a birthday or Father's Day card.

Here is what the set looks like.  You can find it on page 60 of the catalog.
If you have a biker in the family this is a great stamp set.
Enjoy your weekend!!

Here is my experiment with the alcohol inks.  I took a gold picture frame and added the inks to create a different color.  After removing the glass from the frame I put a fragranced sachet in its place.  I added the large purple butterfly along with a few extra little ones I made using a die cut.  Now I have a beautiful fragrance framed  picture I can put in my bathroom or bedroom dresser.  It would make a wonderful Mother's day gift.

The gold frame before I used the alcohol inks.

The finished project.  It smells wonderful.
Hope you have a wonderful day filled with butterflies and spring flowers and no *Moths.
*Albuquerque has been invaded with tons of moths. Yuck!

I have a baby shower this weekend so I worked on a couple of baby cards so here is one of them.

The bears are cheaters. (they are so cute!). The stamp is from
Rubbernecker.  The paper is from my scrap pile and the Ricrac
is from CTMH.

Our Wednesday Ladies Card Night has been cancelled tonight.  It seems as life is happening so fast and we just can't keep up.  So tomorrow I will be showing you my experiment with alcohol inks and a picture frame. Make sure you stop by to see what I did.  Thanks for spending time with me today.  God Bless!

In March The Hen House had a Memory Box truck show and by the time I showed up all the good stuff was gone.  So I placed an order for one of the die cuts and it has arrived!!  Yeah!!  So today's card is a wedding card using the die cut.

The die cut is a very beautiful and delicate flower frame.  I added
the heart, flowers and pearls.  The cake stamp is from Stampin'up.
I used a shimmer spray to add sparkle to the
front and inside of the card.

Sending you Smiles and Hugs today!!  Thanks for stopping by!

It's the last full week in April.  May is just around the corner and before you know it the kids will all be out of school.  My Daughter will be home from college and I can't wait!!
Unfortunately, I got the stomach bug and was unable to give my class on Saturday.  Sorry ladies!!!  I am sharing the cards we would have done had I felt better.  As soon as I have the make up class I will share with you what they create.
This is a look of the packet for the Lucy workshop/class.
You get C.S, Pattern paper, Stamp set, Rub-on's and Bitty
sparkles (bling).  You can find this on page 31 of the catalog.

Close up of the stamp set.

For all the cards I used the  card stock and  pattern paper from
the Lucy packet. The flower is stamped with CTMH ink Cotton Candy
then outlined  in CTMH gray wool.

A Close up of the flower made with the Lucy stamp set and the
CTMH  brads Filgree Charms on page 127 of the catalog. I stamped
the  flower twice, cut them out and then used the bone folder to
roll the  flower stems to give them the 3-D look.

Here I used the rub-on's that came with the packet.  They
match the paper perfect!

Same card as above with "Happy Mother's day" and
less rub-on's.
Close up of the rub on's.  They are beautiful.  They look
like they are chalked.

This last card I used the small flower from the Lucy packet stamp
set and the Stamp of the Month set "You are..." on page 141
You have an AMAZING week!!!

Unfortunately I was unable to attend our Ladies Card night.  I am sure they made some dynamite cards.  This is the card I had designed to take last night.  I will try to get my hands on the cards they made last night and feature them on Tuesday of next week.

The paper is from Memory Box and the stamp set is CTMH stamp of the month.

Here is a close up of the flower.  It's from the Lucy Workshop on the Go
Today made sure you hug your family members and tell them you love them.  Life is to short to not let people know you care. Have a wonderful day!

Saturday is my Workshop on the Go class.  Those that know me well know that I love flowers. I was so excited when the ladies choose the Lucy workshop on the go kit for their next kit.  Today's card has a flower made using the stamp set from Lucy's kit.

I have been a very busy bee lately.  Haven't had much time for crafting.  Today I get to spent most of my day in  my craft room. Yeah!!  Last Wednesday Heather brought show and tell.  She brought lots of goodies from Memory Box and a couple of background stamps.  I am so proud of Heather that she bought background stamps. She says  "Why make your own paper when there is so much beautiful paper out there to buy".   So here is the two background stamps she has.

On white C.S. we stamped the clouds, then the trees.  It's Great!
Doesn't it look real?  I haven't had time to finish the card but
when I do I will post it again.
I don't remember who makes the stamps but I will find out and let you know.  Have a super great day!!

Wow where did the weekend go? It must have been all that wind.  I have (had) tulips in my front and back yard but all that is left is a green stick.  It happens every year with the wind.  Oh well they were beautiful while they lasted.  Today I am sharing a baby food jar that I decorated for some CTMH crocheted  flowers I have.

I painted the lid with acrylic paint, added the pattern paper and ribbon.

I have about 30 more jars to go......LOL

Hope your week is filled with the beauty of colorful tulips and not sticks.....Thanks for visiting!

Happy Friday to you!!  Did you have a good week?  Sure hope so.  Here is a candle I decorated and gave my Mom for Easter.
The paper is from Memory Box and the flower is a punch with
added glitter and a brad.

Close up of the flower.
These are hankies I found at Hobby Lobby.  I added the ribbon
and gave them to my sisters.  I just thought they were
perfect for Easter.  "He is Risen!"
You all have a fun and restful weekend!

I had already featured this card last Thursday when our card
night was cancelled at the last minute.  So I had my cuttings
ready to go for  the ladies last night.  Using the alcohol inks
the ladies made each bird unique.
