Nativity Border

Hello! How is everyone today?  Is everyone in the Christmas spirit?  Sure hope so.  Today I am sharing a little project I did using a glass plug-in fragrance light, a die cut and some tape.  I purchased the home decor light from my cousin Karen who is selling "Pink Zebra" candles and home fragrances.  If you are interested in purchasing some of these candles send me an email and I will pass on her information.  I've been so busy that I am posting today at the last minute and I didn't ask Karen permission to post her info before hand. So you can email me at djparra7@aol.com or leave a comment here on my blog for more info on purchasing the candles.  Thanks.
Using taylored expressions "Nativity Border"
die and some card stock, I cut out two sets to
attach to the glass holder.

I attached the two Nativity sets together with
Scor-tape tight enough to fit over the glass holder.
I didn't want to put glue or tape on the glass holder.

Here is is what it looks like plugged in.  It's
so beautiful don't you think?

This is the top of the glass jar with the scented sprinkles.

Here is what the fragrance sprinkles look like.
The company does have shades you can purchase
to go over the glass liners in many different styles
and colors.  As soon as I purchase some I will share
them with you.
Hope you will have a day filled with the Christmas Spirit.

Strawberry Shortcake Baby Shower

Happy Monday to you! Hope you had a good weekend.  Today I am sharing some pictures from the baby shower for my daughter-in-law Rena. It turned out really nice.

These are baby booties made from Styrofoam cups.

Here are the center pieces for the tables.
Rena and her sister made all the decorations
and they did a wonderful job!

Everyone enjoyed the candy table.
Rena made the strawberry sucker holders
on the pink serving tray.  They were adorable.

My sister Lisa made the cookies.
My son Robert and his wife Rena.
Do you like her shirt?  It's so cute!

Here I am with my husband and Rena.
The baby is due in January and we can't wait!
Thank you for letting me share.  Have a super great week!

Grandma's Brag Book

I received a wonderful surprise from my friend Felice.
She made me a Grandma's Brag Book.  She did such a great job,
it came out so beautiful!!! I Love it!
Front Cover

Side view of the cover.

The left side is a pocket filled with tags to add baby
pictures and journal.  The right side is a Waterfall folio.

Don't you just love all the tags?

The paper she used is just beautiful.  Do you see the
clothes line on the top left? How cute.

The last flap has a pocket with more tags.
I can't wait to fill this with my granddaughters pictures.  I will share it with you again after she is born.  Thank you so much Felice.  I am very touched by your gift!!!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Baby Shower Invites

Are you having a wonderful day?  Did you get any great sales on Cyber Monday?  I did very little shopping this year.  Which made my husband very happy .....LOL  We are being blessed with a granddaughter in January 2015.  My daughter-in-law wanted her baby shower theme to be Strawberry Short Cake.  She shared with me a sample of an invite she wanted so I decided to give it a try.
Woo Hoo I used my Cricut machine for the first time.
It took me awhile to get the hang of it but I think
I am going to like it. Oh No that means I have to
buy cartridges....LOL
All the strawberry parts were cut with the Cricut
except the black CS I  freehand cut for the seeds.

It took me several days to put the strawberries together.
In doing so I attached the parts on different sides of the green
background.  As you can see some of them
face to the left and some to the right. Oh well they
truly are all unique and handmade.

The baby was printed on CS and hand cut.

She is just so cute!!!!

Inside of the invite.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a super great day!

Give Thanks

Happy Monday to you. I sent a bottle of wine to my son and daughter's in-laws this year for Thanksgiving. I made the wine bottle tags using the "Give thanks with a Grateful Heart" print out from Craftaholics Anonymous.
I used a CTMH stamp "The Love of Family is the
greatest blessings" and also added "Happy Thanksgiving.

Hope you have a wonderful week!
