So last Friday I took a class on how to use Copic markers. Laura Fulcher from Memory Box taught a wonderful class at The Hen House. I have always wanted to take a class to see what all the fuss is about. So THANK YOU Heather for letting me borrow your markers for the class!!!!
While guess what? They were really pretty easy to use and I learned all the Ins and Outs about the markers. I never knew there was so much to learn about a marker. To me they are a bit pricey. I guess they are worth the price if you use them ALL the time. I'm not sure if I want to invest my children's inheritance for the markers at this time. Maybe with a 40% off coupon at Michael's I can buy one a month......
Memory Box has some great stuff. They have so many die cuts and stamps. I did purchase some of the paper and one die cut from Memory Box that night. Apparently they sold out of the good stuff within 10mins of the trunk show.
Next Wednesday we will be making a few cards using Copic Markers so I can share with the ladies what I learned. Here are the cards I made. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of my Copic marker coloring.
Here we used three different colors to shade the flowers. |
The bird was shaded using a green and blue marker |
Three colors were used for the butterfly |
The Dogwood flower was colored with Aqua Blue and Wisteria. Then using a rag dipped in clear blender solution we dabbed the flower leaving white specks. It was pretty cool!! |
Thank you for visiting my blog!!
