Tea Time

Today I am sharing some tea holders I made for the craft fair.  (sorry about the dark pictures)  I saw this idea on Pinterest and went to the blog "The Kraft Journal".  It's a great blog so check it out. 

The base of the holder is made using an 8.5 x 7
piece of card stock. 

Everyone loved the saying inside: What happens
around the tea pot stays around the tea pot.

Each holder has three pockets on the right side for tea.

I made a matching book marker with the
 "stays around the pot" saying for this one. 

I typed up all the saying on my computer and printed
them onto card stock. 

The inside reads: Life is like a cup of tea, It's all in
how you make it. 

These were a big hit. I sold them all.

Chocolate Covered Candies

Happy Tuesday to you!  These covered chocolate candies were a big hit at the craft fair.  They are made using the "top note" die cut, ribbon and embellishments.  Who doesn't like chocolate right? 

Using punches, stamps, ribbon and bling I made
these embellishments. 

The animals are felt stickers.  I stamped the "for you"
on CS and punched them out with punches. 

These embellishments were made with punches. 

The "Hello Kitty" are stickers.  

The owls are felt Christmas ornaments. 

Using wrapping paper I made some Broncos & Cowboys
covered chocolates for the sports fans.

Craft Fair

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  Manzano del Sol, a Senior housing/Nursing home in Albuquerque had their annual "Grandma's Garden" fundraiser.  They sell beautiful flowers, plants and vegetables.  They had live music, dancing, food and a few vendors.  I was lucky enough to be one of the vendor's.  It was so much fun!!!!    

Here I am next to my table.  The fundraiser was held
in their garden.  They have a gorgeous garden.  

This is Tweedle Dee the clown.  She was adorable.
She was full of life and brought smiles to everyone. 

This is the dancing club.  They were getting ready to
show off their dancing talent.  Boy can they dance.
Everyone danced all day.  It was wonderful!

Katrina my niece, makes origami birds & butterflies.
I didn't get any pictures of what she sold but everyone
just loved them.  She does great work! I will
have to share some of her talent here on my blog. 

So all this week I will share the items I made for the
craft fair. I made some Mother Day gifts.  These are
 plastic  fruit containers with candles inside.

This craft fair was SO MUCH FUN!!  I just love the elderly.  They are so full of life and have so much wisdom and knowledge.  I hope I can make this an annual affair. Hope you have a great Cinco de Mayo celebrations today!

First Communion Card

Happy Friday to you!  Here is the First Communion card I made instead of the white suit card.  

I used three different embossing folders for the white layers. 

I used a green ink to distress around the cross and
the inside of the card.  The cross is a sticker.

Dress Suit Card

Good Morning everyone. Happy May First!! We were invited to my cousin's First Communion this past weekend. I decided I wanted to make a white dress suit card.  I tried it first with black and white paper and this is what I ended up with.  

I cut the pattern paper down the middle to make the lapels.
The collar is a piece of white CS. 

The tie is a piece of ribbon.  I don't know how to tie a
tie so this was the best I could do....LOL

The pocket is a piece of black CS with ribbon tucked
behind it.
