Great Buys

Happy Monday! On August 5th the annual "De-Stash" sale was held at the Jewish Community Center.  Of course my neighbor Heather and I went.  We told ourselves we need nothing, but it won't hurt to just go look. Are you all laughing by now? Of course, we didn't just go look, we bought. We got there early and as we were standing in line a lady came up and asked if there was a fee to go inside. The lady in front of us said "No, it's free to enter but it cost you to leave".....LOL So true!!!
These are the items I purchased. The prices
were so good I couldn't pass them up

This was my best buy. For one dollar per bag
I received Stamp n Up: ink pad,  the re-inker,
stamp set,  2 rolls of ribbon, card stock
and marker. Can you believe that?
I got the last two. The lady before me
had purchased five of them.

The SU Stamp sets were only $1.00 each. I got
10 ink pads (all but 2 brand new) for $5.00.
This is Heather's stuff.  She got some really good
deals also.

The yarn was .25¢ each.
We had so much fun and what GREAT deals!!  We saw a few of our crafting and sewing friends there. I am sure you got some great deals too. Happy Crafting and sewing!

Post-it-Notes

Happy Monday! How is everyone today? Are you getting adjusted to the time change? It's funny because we are painting our kitchen  and dinning room (yes we are still remodeling) and we removed our lighting, so we are eating dinner with candle light since the time changed. I can't image how life was before electricity. Sorry ladies but it's not as romantic as they say it is when you have to do it every night....(laughing)  Today I am sharing some "Post-it-Note" holders. These were from mychicnscratch.com 12 days of Halloween.
When I saw these I thought they would be cute as a
Halloween candy holder. I started with Halloween
paper but never made it back into my craft room to finish.

Have a great fall week!

Tissue Boxes

Hello! Hope your day is going well! Today I am sharing a Tissue box I made. I used my favorite paper packet from The Paper Studio-Helerdashery.  I think everyone I know will eventually end up with a card or a crafted item I made from this paper.....LOL
I used a glitter pen to add a touch of  gold sparkle
to each panel.  You can't see the glitter but
it's there....

The butterfly has a touch of  glitter.
You can see a touch of the gold glitter on the wings here.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Happy Stamping.

More Tissue Holders

Hello everyone! Now that the wrapping paper is all cleaned up and your gifts are sitting around waiting to be put away we can relax and look back on the wonderful new memories we made this Christmas Season.  I hope your Christmas was a blessing!  Today I am sharing some Christmas Tissue boxes I made and gave as gifts this Christmas.
I purchased this paper when I was in AZ visiting
my sister.  It's a great packet filled with double
sided paper, tags and card stock.

The box on the left matches the wine bottle covers I
made for my craft fair.
I love these little penguins. They are embellishments
 from Jolee's boutique.
This is my favorite box.  I decorated all four sides.

Have a super great weekend and thank you for stopping by!

York peppermint patty

Happy Monday to everyone.  Were you busy shopping, wrapping and baking this weekend?  Any time for crafting?  I made it to my craft room this week.  Yeah.  I wanted to make a little something for the ladies at my TOPS group.  I never do candy (we are a weight loss group after all) but this year I decided on the York peppermint patties.  On Pinterest, I saw how to make little snowman using the SU scallop punch and the round peppermint patties.  Boy was I surprised when I opened the bag of peppermint patties and they were not package in the round packaging.  So I had to go a different route.  Here is what I made.
I used the SU Top Note die cut, ribbon, some
embellishments, card stock and small bags.

All done and ready to give away.

Hopefully the ladies will like them.  Thank you for stopping by.  You have a wonderful day!

Owl Wine Bottle Tag

Good Morning!  Hope your having a super great day.  Today I am sharing a Owl wine bottle tag.  I added the Santa Claus tie to make him a jolly old owl.

The tags can always be added to a water bottle
and used at your dinner table.

I found these ties at Hobby Lobby last year after
the Christmas season.
You have a great Thanksgiving week!!  God Bless you and your family!

Popcorn Owls

Happy Friday to you! For those of you who came to the craft fair on Saturday Thank You for coming.  I want to thank my sister-in-law Pauline who took my place at the craft fair and sold her homemade blankets and my crafts.  I am truly grateful!
These microwave popcorn owls were a big hit at the fair.

I've made these owls before but this year I added
the hands and feet.  I think they are really cute.

Everyone got a kick out of the saying.

Have a nice weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Merry Kissmas & Chappy New Year

Happy Friday to you.  Make sure to stop by the craft fair this weekend at Petroglyph Elementary 5100 Marna Lynn Ave NW 87114.  It starts at 10am - 3pm. I wanted to share some more craft fair items I made. These are covered Christmas chapsticks.

I used a glue dot to attach the chapsticks.

I found these chapsticks at Tuesday Morning.  The are
really cute.  The tops have glitter and I matched the
covers to the chapsticks.

The inside reads:
Merry Kissmas and Chappy New Year.
Have a great weekend.  Hope to see you at the Craft Fair.

Tags for Craft Fair

How's everyone doing today?  Wonderful I hope.  Today I am sharing some wine bottle tags I made for the Craft Fair this Saturday.
I used a CTMH stamp and a die cut for the poinsettia

The paper is from an old paper packet from Hobby Lobby.

I used a Member Box die to make this tag.

Brew Yourself A Cup of Tea

It's never to early to start your Holiday crafts but if you are like me it never happens.  I always say I am going to start in July....ha ha.  Anyway here are a few Christmas items I made using Tea as the gift. These are nice for co-workers or friends you don't see enough.  I added a poem so the person receiving the Tea will know I am thinking of them.

These were made with music paper I found at
Tuesday Morning.  It's beautiful paper.

I touched up her bracelet with glitter glue.

You could add candy or gift card instead.

Enjoy your day and hope you get some Holiday crafts started!
