Halloween Boxes

 Happy Monday! I'm running a bit late today on my posting. I wanted to share with you the cutest Halloween boxes my neighbor Heather made for my grand kids. They are just so adorable. So much work and details. She used a die cut for the box and punches and die cuts for the embellishments.

The boxes were stuffed with candy. 

Thanks Heather!! Next year I'm making these for sure!

Boxes

Happy Monday! July is ending and school will be starting soon. Hope you had a wonderful summer with your families. I saw this cute little box on Angie Juda's blog: chicnscratch.com. I made these as prizes for my TOPS group and put a package of gum in them. We played "Healthy Jeopardy. It was so much fun. 

I've had these embellishment for a long time.
Not sure where they even came from. The fruit
and turtles are so cute. 

The belly band slides off and you open
the box. I put a gift card to show the size
of the box. I hadn't bought the gum when
I took the picture...(smiling)

One Sheet Box

Welcome!  Today I am sharing a gift box made using one 12 X 12 sheet of pattern paper, a die cut and some flowers.  It's very easy and a great way to wrap a small gift or gift card. 

Looking at this picture it looks like  maybe I should 
add a ribbon handle to the box.  What do you think?

I wish I could tell you I made these flowers, but for
me it's just easier to buy them....LOL  These are
from Bessies Lace & Crafts here in Albuquerque. 

A small magnetic was used to attach the flap to the box.

I added ink to each of the score lines to give it 
a vintage look.

Candy Baskets

Happy Tuesday to you.  Today I am sharing the baskets I made as decorations for my Mom's 70th birthday party.  Being Easter weekend I thought they would make a nice table decoration. 

These are made using 6x6 CS and pattern paper on
the outside squares. 

I pulled out all my cheaters (store bought embellishments),
stickers, punches, die cuts.  Just about everything in
my craft room to decorate these baskets. 

I added colored shredded paper and candy inside.
Of course the kids really loved them.

Boxes

Today I am sharing some boxes I made to be used for Christmas goodies.  I do a lot of baking at Christmas time so I will fill the boxes with baked goods and send them home with my guest. 

The boxes were made with CS and pattern CS.
I made all the embellishments with die cuts. 

This is what the inside of the box looks like.
I used a square die cut to cutout the window.
Instead of using a sheet of Acetate for the window
I used the plastic from my embossing folders.

Yes I do keep all the plastic's my crafts come in.
 I have a hard time throwing things away
when I could use it for something else....LOL

Candy/Gift boxes

Hello!  Thanks for dropping by today.  I saw these gift bags on the blog 

mychicnscratch.com and thought I would give them a try.  They were

 pretty easy to make and you can use them for any occasion. 

These would make cute princess party goodie bags

I added some Christmas ornaments to the bags.  

This ginger man is a sticker. 

Inside the box I added Chocolate candy and some left
over Halloween candy. (had to do something with the
candy before we ate it all)

Tomorrow I will be at Petroglyph Elementary School (Sat. 11/16/2013 10am - 3pm) for a craft fair.  Come by and say hello and lets help support this fundraiser for the school.  Have a wonderful day!

Gift box Punch board

I am so excited to share with you this great Gift Box punch board.  My neighbor Heather bought this over to  me and told me to try it.  It was so much fun to make these boxes.  You can go to YouTube and see the video on these We R memory keepers. 

This is the packaged punch board.  

These are the three boxes I made.

I thought these would be cute a filled with doggie treats. 

I stamped and cut out the ornament tag. 

This tag was made using a CTMH stamp set.

This is what the inside of the box looks like.  I used
a 12 X 12 sheet of CS to make the 4 x 4 boxes.  You 
can make many different sizes with the punch board.  
One of the great things is no taping or gluing involved. 

The tops have a punched tab to hold the box together.
