Musical Anniversary

Happy Fall Monday! Today I'm sharing a anniversary card I made for my niece. Her and her husband just celebrated their first anniversary. They both have music backgrounds so I used the music notes embossing folder.

I found these lace hearts in my wedding stash and
they fit perfect on the paper heart.

Have a wonderful week!

Wedding Shower

Happy Monday. Today I'm sharing a wedding shower card I made for my niece. She will be getting married in September. She love sunflowers. I used a itty bitty punch to make the sunflower bouquet.

I used a brown marker to add the center of the flower.

Winter Wonder Land Wedding

Happy October! How is everyone doing?  It's been awhile since I've posted to my blog. October has been a busy month filled with grandkids and traveling. We just returned from a outdoor wedding in Winter Park, CO at the Devil's Thumb Ranch. Wow it was so beautiful! The morning of the wedding we woke up to four inches of snow. Thinking the wedding would be moved inside.....nope it was outside. The bride and groom have three dogs and they are truly their children. They were part of the wedding ceremony with a tux and fancy collars...(smiling)  Using the wedding invitation I made their wedding card.
Since their wedding was a mountain rustic
theme I used a glittery wood background
on a gold CS.

The James, Devin and paw prints
were part of the invite.

Inside the card.

These are their three dogs. They were printed
on the inside of the envelope when you opened
their invitation. I cut them out and added
them here. As gifts to everyone they had the
dogs pictures printed on Koozies. It was adorable.
Here we are sitting waiting for the wedding ceremony
to start. My grandson didn't last long outside, I
took him inside one of the buildings to
watch where is was nice and warm.

Pictures while I was inside nice
and warm....(smiling)
It was a beautiful wedding!!  If you like to ski Winter Park, CO is the place to be. Have a great day!

50th Anniversary

Happy Monday Morning! Today is a long posting so get your coffee ready. I am sharing my parents 50th Anniversary celebration. My Dad, as he said "I don't want a Circus" so we kept it small. We set up chairs, alter and tables in my back yard, which made it intimate and perfect.
Here is a photo of the front and back of the invite.
This was kind of a last minute celebration I ordered
the invites and didn't realize the photo paper was so
flimsy. Fortunately, I had gold CS to add a backing to
the photo. It was a good thing because  I didn't put my
 parents name on the invite.
😆(Oh Dear) They
turned out okay in the end.
I decorated a basket by spray painting it white,
adding jeweled lace and flowers to it. We filled it
with white rose petals and had my niece walk down
the isle in front of my Mom. I added glitter
and flowers to decorate the wine glasses.

I made napkin holders to help add color to
the tables. I embossed the outside square and
added the ribbon. Using die cuts I made the
"50th" embellishment and added it to
the center.
I wanted some kind of an alter for my parents
to renew their vows. I ordered this arch on line.
Boy you get what you pay for. It was very
flimsy so we had to tie it down with fishing line.
After adding sheer material and flowers
I think it came out really nice.

This is a picture before the ceremony of
my Parents.

Thank you for sharing your time with me while I share my family with you. God Bless

Bridal Shower

Happy Monday! I had a Bridal Shower a few weekends ago and this is the card I made. The Wedding is 12/31/2018, New Year's Eve....How fun, don't you think? My husband and I have never gone out on New Years Eve so we are looking forward to this Wedding.
I used the Stampin up "dress up framelits" and the
Impression Obsessions "wedding icons" die.

The card has lots of glitter and sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your day!

Wedding Card

Happy Monday. We had a out-of-town Wedding last week. This is the card I made.
I used Heartfelt Creation's die cuts.

Each corner is a separate die cut.  I
glued them into each corner. I then cut
a different floral die cut and added it
to the middle.

I added glittered hearts, ribbon and a flower.

Have a wonderful week!

Wedding Shower

Happy Monday and Happy 4th of July. Today I am sharing a Wedding shower I had at my house a few weeks ago. My daughter-in-laws sister is getting married and I offered to host the Wedding shower at my house since the bride and mother both live out of town. Albuquerque was a good central place for all the guests.
I made this wreath to hang on the front door.
I saw one like it on pinterest for $75.00
and thought I would give it a try.

I draped pearls down the tulle.

The Wedding is rustic so I used a grapevine
wreath, added the white flowers, tulle
and pearls.  Total cost $25.00. Of course
everything was 50% off at Hobby Lobby.
Here is a view from upstairs of the table settings.

A remodel Note: Take a close look at the wood stove.
We haven't finished the remodel. You can see the
concrete floor. where we need to put tile.
My goal to finish is by Christmas...(smiling)

I decorated this frame with flowers and
tulle for photos.

I made napkin rings using burlap and flowers.

They made the most beautiful flower center pieces.

Dessert table.

The Cheers table-Mimosa, Citrus water and wine.

The bride to be is on the right, just in
case you got us mixed up....haha
Thanks for spending part of your day with me while I share my pictures.  Have a fun 4th of July!

Wedding Pictures

Hello. How is everyone today? You all asked for it so I am finally posting pictures of my son and daughter-in-law's wedding.  They were married in Telluride, CO.  It's so beautiful there!!! Unfortunately it did rain the day of the wedding but it was still a magically day.
James and Brittny along the river.

Wedding party in the middle of town.
The day of the wedding the women got ready in
one cabin while the men got ready in another.
Brittny purchased robes for all of the wedding party.
Her mom and I are in the black robes.

Here are the men out on their balcony. James is
the fourth from the left. His dad is on the left side
and his father-in-law on the right.

James and I being seated for the wedding.

James and Brittny saying their wedding vows.

The Mayor of Telluride married them. He was a really
funny man.  My son Robert on the right was the best man.
It was so beautiful with the rain falling against the windows.

This is were the wedding ceremony was scheduled
to take place before the rain started. They
were able to take some pictures after the wedding up here.

The mountain views up here were unbelievable.

This is a picture of the two families joined as one.
Here is Brittny and her family.

First dance as husband and wife.
The dinner and dance was held at a
restaurant/bar that had a very rustic look to it.
The tables had different shape and sizes
of vases filled with white flowers and lots of
greenery.  It was so simple and elegant.

Thanks for asking me to share our special day with you. Have a great weekend!
