Birthday #2

Happy Monday! It's been awhile since I've posted anything. Life has been a little crazy lately. One of my grandbabies turned two in August so I made a quick and easy card.

I love this paper. I believe I got it at Tuesday
 Morning many moons ago.

Added the "2" and balloons.

Just A Note

Happy August Monday! Today's card is so cute. Just a note with the xylophone displayed on the card.

I'm sure this is not the correct order of colors....LOL
Heather tells me I have to follow the rainbow
colors to help make them match.

Top one is the first one I made.
The second one I ran through an
embossing folder.

You have a wonderful August Month!

School Days

Happy Monday to you! First day of school is just a few weeks away. I wanted to make cards for my grandkids to celebrate their first day of school. I was inspired by a crayon card I saw on Pinterest. The card had six crayons across it with google eyes. I wanted just one crayon as a card.  I found a coloring page of crayons and printed them on colored paper.

I folded the paper and hand cut out the crayon.
I picked the kid's favorite colors and added the
eyes and their names.

So darn cute!

Inside of the youngest boys since they
are not going to school but they have
to have what all the other kids get. (smiling)

This card is for my daughter-in-law who
graduated in May. Yes I am that far behind
on cards!

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer!

Crafting fun with my grandson

Happy Monday morning! Hope your enjoying your summer. It's coming to an end way to fast. I didn't really make any cards this week except with my grandson Joaquin. He just loves to be in the craft room and use inks, makers and lots of glitter. He made a couple of cards I'm sharing with you today.
All by himself he used the ink and brush
to add the sky and dirt to his card. He stamped
the trees and I helped him with the saying.
He stamped the camper and we used a
die cut and attached it to the card.

He is so proud of what he does.
I just love it.

He saw a hamburger card and asked if
he could make one. I put this one
together as a sample for him.
Bad grandma, I didn't get a picture
of his card. (sad face)

Here he is just inking away. He really
got a kick out of making the chips too.

Seeing all the ideas he has and what he wants to make is so much fun! Sending you well wishes and smiles!

Shaker Card

Happy Valentines Monday! Sending you hugs and well wishes! Today I'm sharing a edge to edge shaker card I made for my great nephew's birthday. I saw this on Jennifer McGuire Instagram.
At the last minute I decided to add the
number "2's" to the glitter and sequin.

The number"2's" got tangled together
and wouldn't move out of the pile.
Bummer!!! Next time only number
can be added to the shaker card.

Have you made a shaker card? They are fun to make.  Have a wonderful week!

Birthday Fun

Happy November Monday! What November? I'm not sure where 2021 went and what I even did this year...laughing! Three of my grandchildren are born with in 30 days in October and November. We celebrated their birthdays and these are the cards I made the morning of the party. (yikes)

This Yoda card was made for Jade
who turned 5 years old.

Jade love Yoda, like a lot of kids.

Mya turned three years old and she wanted
a robot cake. Not even sure where the
robot came from. She has never even
mentioned robots before...laughing

Kody turned one year old. He starting
walking a month before his first birthday.
The card below is a card I made with my
neighbor Heather, I just added the balloons,
the 1 and KODY.

This is the cakes my daughter-in-law made
for the kids.

Do you see "MYA" spelled in gum drops?

Thank you for stopping by and letting me share a part of my family!! Have a wonderful November month!

First Birthday

Happy Labor Day! . Do you ever start a card with a theme in mind and it just doesn't click? My grandson turned One Years Old in August and I started a card with Cars, his birthday theme. It just didn't look good to me so I went with the number "1" instead.

I free hand cut the number one out of
pattern paper.

The animals are stickers and I die cut
out the HB Mateo.

Hope you have a wonderful September month. Enjoy your day!

School days

Happy Monday! School time is here already. Where did the summer go? During my children's school years I put a card or note on their dressers on the first day of school wishing them a great school year. Wish I would have kept all those cards and notes. It would have made a great keepsake book.  I made these two cards for my grandkids for this school year.
I found this paper in my stash and thought it was
perfect for a back to school card.

I added a couple of embellishments
and some ribbon. How much ribbon do
you have? Back in the day ribbon was
added to every card. I have bins full
of ribbon! I need to do a purge in
my craft room!!

God Bless all the children and families this school year!

Happy Birthday

Happy Monday! Last Monday of July and we are heading into the school year. Hope you all enjoy the last part of your summer!  This birthday card was made for my nephew. It's not really boyish but it's bright and happy. I keep making him dinosaur cards and keep forgetting he is not a little boy anymore. (smiling)

Roar means I LOVE YOU!

Happy  Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today I'm sharing some dinosaur cards I made for some of my nephew's birthdays.
Not sure where the dinosaur paper is from. It was
in my single sheets of paper but it's perfect for these cards.

The die cut & stamp set is from Rubbernecker.
