Cute handbags/purses

Happy August Monday! How is everyone today? Do you carry everything you own in your handbag or purse?  How about all your family members (husbands) who think because you carry a purse you can now carry all of their items too...(laughing) Today I'm sharing these cute little purses and surprisingly they are bigger than I thought they would be.
The die cut is from Concord & 9th for Becky Roberts
at Inking Idaho. ( www.inkingidaho.com)

It comes with different parts for the purse,
like key chains & hearts. Its just so adorable.

You can use them for gift cards or
small note cards.

I can't wait to make more to share with you. Have a wonderful week!

Christmas Gnomes

Happy Monday! I saw these gnomes on YouTube and thought they were just so adorable. I just had to try making them. Thank goodness I had most of the stuff already. I used a combination of two different videos with different ways to make them. There are lots of videos out there and so many cute gnomes.

These were made using a few of my husbands long
socks filled with lentils and covered in Christmas socks.

This fur was hair I had bought to make
Christmas stocking and never did..(smiling)
Worked out well to make his beard.

This beard was actually a Christmas
stocking from the Dollar Tree store. I
took it apart, used the fur for the beard
and the stocking part to make the hat below.

With a mustache or without?

Merry Christmas to you all!! Wishing you a blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with Good Health and lots of friends and family.

Another Wine Tag and Card

Happy Monday! Can you believe we are already half way through June? My husband said the Christmas trees should be on display at Hobby Lobby by now.....(laughing)

Here is another wine tag and card.
It has Christmas colors, so I guess
I could use it at Christmas time.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Christmas Gifts

Happy Monday. How is everyone today? Are you working on putting away all the Christmas decorations? Every year after all my decorations are packed away I find one more Christmas ball or some kind of decoration. Agghhh! (laughing) Today I am sharing some homemade Christmas gifts. Hope they make you smile!
This is the "Picture Memory Matching Game"
My goal was to make a set for each of my
Nieces kids, some friends and my grand kids.
Ha Ha I only got this one set made. I have
350 days to make them for this Christmas.
I better get started.....(smiling)

I didn't get permission to show my great
nephew's pictures but they came out really cute.

My daughter made this as a Gag gift. Do you all
know what a Yeti is? My Daughter's friend asked her
if us City folk (her friend lives in a small rural area)

would know what this was. Of course I didn't
get it. My daughter laughed so hard. "Yeti" is a very
expensive name brand of coolers and water bottles.
What do I know about name brands? I shop at the
dollar store.......(lauging)

These are my grand daughters hand prints. I
made some salt dough and let Tessa play with it.
She had so much fun. It kept her busy for over
an hour.  She painted both hands. She was so
proud of her hands.  Sharing the world through a
child's eye is the best gift at Christmas and all year.
Thanks for letting me share! Have a super great day!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Happy New Year 2018! Did you all have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends? We hosted Christmas Eve with my husband's family and Christmas day with my family. Kids running everywhere, lots of food and we went Christmas Caroling for the first time. We sounded awful but it was so much fun. Our neighbors enjoyed it as much as we did. Since I was so busy preparing for Christmas and enjoying my grand kids I was not able to post, so I'll be posting Christmas stuff for the next few weeks.
Santa's Pants.
I saw this on Splitcoaststampers and
just had to make them.

As my neighbor Heather would say,
"how can we Up One this project"
 I added the inside black
Santa belt. Attached white fauz fur, leather
textured paper for the belt and shinny paper
for the buckle.

The original instructions used regular CS.

This year I made a photo booth. I used curtains,
on a rod and thumb tacks to attach strings of
lights behind them. I found props from
the dollar store and made a few of my own.
It was so much fun! This is me and my Mom.

The silver Christmas Tree was my
husbands when he was a child. My
Mother-in-law gave it me. It brings
back such great childhood memories.
I had an aunt who had one and I just
loved it as a child and still do.
My sister Jovonna made this veggie tray.
She used a tree shapped styrofoam and
wrapped Char lettuce around it and attached
the broccoli, tomatoes and peppers with
tooth picks. The picture dosen't show it but
it was HUGE. My husband and I ate broccoli
all week. No one wanted to take broccoli home
when there was so many sweets to eat....laughing
Hope your New Year brings you Good Health, Happiness, Joy and lots of time for crafting!

Post-it-Notes

Happy Monday! How is everyone today? Are you getting adjusted to the time change? It's funny because we are painting our kitchen  and dinning room (yes we are still remodeling) and we removed our lighting, so we are eating dinner with candle light since the time changed. I can't image how life was before electricity. Sorry ladies but it's not as romantic as they say it is when you have to do it every night....(laughing)  Today I am sharing some "Post-it-Note" holders. These were from mychicnscratch.com 12 days of Halloween.
When I saw these I thought they would be cute as a
Halloween candy holder. I started with Halloween
paper but never made it back into my craft room to finish.

Have a great fall week!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2016!!  Hope you enjoyed bringing in the New Year! For the next couple weeks I will be sharing some items I made for Christmas and some of the homemade items I received.  Thank you for spending time with me here on my blog in 2015.  Hope to share more in 2016!
I took a box of Hostess HO HO's and Ding Dongs
wrapped ribbon around the two boxes and hung
them on my neighbor Heather's door.

This is the tag I attached:
HO HO HO from the DING DONGS next door!

I made this flower vase with a metal can and candy
canes.  I used three (3) boxes of candy canes.

I added double sided tape around the can, then used
a rubber band to hold the candy canes in place as I was
adding them to the can.  I poured glue around the top
of the can to secure the candy canes to the can.

With the added flowers.
Have a super great New Years Day!

Candle

Hello everyone! How was your Christmas?  I hope you all had a blessed Christmas with your loved ones.  Mine was wonderful! Today I am sharing a last minute gift I made for the Holidays.
Hobby Lobby had their candles and accessories 50%
off so I purchased the candle, cross and gold candle
holder.  The ribbon is from my stash.

I wrapped the burlap and ribbon around the
candle and attached it with glue.

On the back of the cross is a metal needle to insert
into the waxed candle.  Hobby Lobby has a
variety of candle pins. I have never notice these
before but I really like them.

The back of the candle.
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!

Lot of Trees

Happy Friday. It's a busy time of the year getting ready for the Holidays. I always have big plans to make Christmas crafts and homemade gifts but every year I run out of time. This year is no different ...heehee.  Oh well there is always next year right?

Every year I try to do something different when I give my money gifts.  This year I found these Money Tree Lots on Pinterest.  The original posting for these were on Kim Knight Kreations.
I decorated each one a little different.

View from the top.

Can you see the mini lights?  They are made by
 Jolee's boutique.

Here is the money folded and the styrofoam for the base.

My sisters were visiting the other day and I asked them
if they could help me fold my money. They
laughed
and thought I was crazy.  They did help and
we did have great time folding money.

I couldn't find a tutorial for the Tree Lot so I
made the base using styrofoam, cardboard and a
exacto knife.  I did use a tutorial
on how to fold the money.
Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a Merry Christmas!!
