Another Wine Tag and Card

Happy Monday! Can you believe we are already half way through June? My husband said the Christmas trees should be on display at Hobby Lobby by now.....(laughing)

Here is another wine tag and card.
It has Christmas colors, so I guess
I could use it at Christmas time.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Wine Tag and Card

Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a wine tag and card I made for my TOPS friend. We had Secret Pals to help each other lose weight this past 6 weeks.  I couldn't send any homemade cards or items because she would know it was me. I was bummed to spend $3.00-$5.00 for cards. Especially when it cost me $20.00 in product to make a homemade card.....(laughing).

This ribbon is beautiful. I bought it at an
Estate sale.

Hope you enjoy your day!

Give Thanks

Happy Monday to you. I sent a bottle of wine to my son and daughter's in-laws this year for Thanksgiving. I made the wine bottle tags using the "Give thanks with a Grateful Heart" print out from Craftaholics Anonymous.
I used a CTMH stamp "The Love of Family is the
greatest blessings" and also added "Happy Thanksgiving.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Owl Wine Bottle Tag

Good Morning!  Hope your having a super great day.  Today I am sharing a Owl wine bottle tag.  I added the Santa Claus tie to make him a jolly old owl.

The tags can always be added to a water bottle
and used at your dinner table.

I found these ties at Hobby Lobby last year after
the Christmas season.
You have a great Thanksgiving week!!  God Bless you and your family!

Merry Christmas

Happy Monday to you. Here are a couple of things I made from that pile of never ending crush velvet paper from Costco. LOL It's still sitting out on my desk in my craftroom so hopefully I will make a few more things with it.
I made a card and the matching wine bottle tag.

Thank you for spending time looking at my blog!! Enjoy your week.

Tags for Craft Fair

How's everyone doing today?  Wonderful I hope.  Today I am sharing some wine bottle tags I made for the Craft Fair this Saturday.
I used a CTMH stamp and a die cut for the poinsettia

The paper is from an old paper packet from Hobby Lobby.

I used a Member Box die to make this tag.
Enjoy your day!!!

Hammer

Happy Wednesday to you!  My sister and her boyfriend built a house together. I wanted to give them a little something to celebrate their new home.  I saw this idea on Pinterest and decided this would be a cute "Moving Day" gift.
I came up with a sentiment and attached it to a wine bottle tag. I
found an old rusty hammer in our garage.  (It's a miracle I can find

anything in that garage or my craft room..LOL) I added glitter to
the head of the hammer then used Modge Podge to seal it. I painted the handle
red and I tied it together with  twine, red ribbon and a couple of washers.
Here is a closer look at the tag.

Can you see the rust coming through the silver glitter?
Hee Hee I guess I should have just bought a new hammer
but I always believe in recycling!!
I added a pocket to the back of the tag because I wanted
to give them some cash for dinner on moving day.
My Sister and her boyfriend loved their gift.  Thanks for letting me share Have a fabulous day!

Wine Bottle Tags

Hello everyone! I have signed up to participate in a craft fair on
Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Petroglyph Elementary School.
They are located at 5100 Marna Lynn Ave NW Albuquerque NM 87114.
I sure hope you all can stop by.
Here are some of the Christmas themed wine bottle tags I made for the craft fair.
I have others I made and will share at a later date.
The tags measure 6 x 3 1/4. I used a 1 3/4 punch
to make the hole for the bottle.

This was the first tag I made.  I stamped the tree to
close to the middle and had to hang the "Peace" over
to the right

This tag I moved over the tree and added the
baby deer.

I got carried away with the baby deer...LOL

It's always a great day when you stop by to see what I am up to.  Thank you so much for taking a look!  Have a super good day!!

Wine bottle cover

Happy Wednesday everyone.  Hope your having a super great day so far!  This is the invite we received for the 60th birthday party.  I used it to make a wine bottle cover as a gift.
The invitation measured 5x7 so I had to cut it down to
fit the wine bottle.  I really liked the decorated edges
and hated to cut them off but I had no choice.  So I
went back and cut out the detailed edges and glued
them back onto the cover.  I added a green, red and
black boarder around the invite to add  more color.

This is the finished bottle cover.

Bill is in a band and plays guitar. He also  loves
to ride bikes so I decided to add these charms.
Can you see in the right hand corner how I added
the cut out edges?

I didn't have anything left from the invite for the top of
the cover, so using distress inks I colored and stamped
a piece of CS to match the invite.

At the last minute I added Bill's name to the bottom. LOL
Hope you enjoy your day!

Hello Everyone! Today I am sharing some more wine bottle tags.
All three of these were made using 12x12 CS.
One pattern sheet and one plain sheet.  I made all
the embellishments for the holders.

I stamped, cut and attached the NOEL to the holder.
I used a die cut for the flower.  I added the three leaves and
some bling to make a holly.  I distressed all the edges with brown ink.

Here I attached several different kinds of embellishments
along with ribbon and lace.

The key was off a sweater I got at a garage sale.  Yes a sweater.
The sweater was covered in keys.  It was the craziest sweater
I ever saw.  I bought it just for the keys. LOL So now I have
about 30 keys to craft with. The green Christmas tree is a
sticker and I added the pink flower.

This one is very simple.  I just stamped the joy
and used a die cut to make the poinsettia. You can't
see in the picture but the paper does have some glitter on it.
Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope your day is filled with joy and laughter.

Bottle tags

Happy December to you!!!  Only 23 more days before Christmas.
I was at Heather's house next door last week and going into her craft room is like going to Michael's or Hobby Lobby.  She has everything.  Sitting on her desk were these cute red octopuses.  She had made a birthday celebration card with them.  Of course she gave me some and cut out the happy birthday, cheers and glasses.  I decided to make wine bottle holders with them.
Looking at these now I should have used a light blue paper
so it looked like water.  Duh!!!  Oh well next time.....LOL

Can you see the wine glasses?  They are cut from vellum paper
and colored with inked markers to look like wine.  Another
reason I should of used colored CS instead of the white.  The
wine glasses would have shown up better.........

I added the googly eyes to the octopuses.
Cheers to you!! Have a super great day!
