Sympathy

Happy February Monday! Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card. I looked through my stash and had none. Next I went through my unfinished box of cards and found this card. I added the sympathy sentiment to it and stamped the inside of the card.  Very simple and yet elegant. Thank goodness for the box of unfinished cards.

Thanks for stopping by today!! Enjoy your day!

Cards

Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a card I made with my neighbor Heather. We were able to do some crafting this past week.  This card was designed by her sister Felicity. It's a beautiful card.

I decided to use this one as a Father's day card
since I hadn't made any cards.

You have a wonderful week!

Happy Monday. My nieces' cat passed away, she was part of the family for many years. The whole family was sadden to have lost their precious Amber. I made each of them a sympathy card.
The stamp set is from CTMH.

Friends and Crafting

Happy August Monday! Not sure where this year has gone but it's almost the end of the year and I've done no Christmas shopping yet. Have you been to Hobby Lobby? All the Christmas stuff is out and ready to craft with.  I guess I better get busy....(smiling) My neighbor, Heather and I got together and made a few cards. It was nice to craft with her again.
This is the first card we made. I took a picture of her
card because mine came out so messy and awful!
I felt like I was in Kindergarten again....LOL

Inside the card
Heather handed me the cut-out paper
and told me to decorate it. So I added
 the twine and flower.

Beautiful paper don't you think?

Inside the card.

I love this card. The words are a
die cut. I just added the flowers and bling.
Easy Breezy.

I left the inside blank.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!

Sympathy Cards

Happy Thursday! How is everyone doing today?  I needed four sympathy cards this week and only had one in my stash.  I need to get busy making cards to build up my stash back up.
All the stamps are from SU. I used my Prismacolor
pencils to color in the flowers.

The butterfly was cut using a SU framelits.
 Enjoy your weekend.

Embossing Folder and Die Cut

Happy Wednesday! A couple of months ago I got together with some crafting friends at my neighbor's house, We ate pizza, talked and made cards.  We had so much fun.  It was nice to be back crafting with friends again.  My husband always says I come home  "Happy" after crafting with friends.
My neighbor Heather pre-cut these cards for
us to put together.

The embossing folders is a ray of Sunshine.

I am still putting my crafting room back together and working on our upstairs remodel. Our remodel motto is: Slow and Steady....LOL   I will post some pictures of my craftroom next week.  Enjoy your week!

With Sympathy

Happy Monday to you! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am sharing a sympathy card I made using a stamp set from Stampin' UP.  I think using water colors on this stamp image would look beautiful, I'll have to try that next time.
I used an embossing folder for the white CS and
scrap pattern paper for the top half.

You all have a super great week!

Quick Cards

Happy Monday.  Back in the day when we had our Wednesday Ladies Card Night, I had about 200 cards on hand at my beck and call. Now I only have about 20 cards and believe me ladies when I say the last 20 cards are not worthy of sending out. (laughing). When I first started making cards I thought they were the greatest things ever.  I look at them now and just laugh. I needed a couple of quick cards for two of the ladies at my TOPS group. So here is what I put together last minute really quick.
I needed a sympathy card and a we miss you card.

Used an embossing folder, stamps, flowers and bling.

The cartoon was already colored from a previous card
so I just glued it down, added ribbon, flowers and bling.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a Blessed Day!

With Sympathy

Happy Thursday to you.  How is everyone doing in the New Year? I hope you're having a wonderful January month. A good friend of my had her Mom pass away just before Christmas.  It's always hard to loose a loved one but during the holidays it makes harder.  I had no sympathy cards in my stash so I made these two cards.  These were very simple and quick cards to make.  I love using embossing folders.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Embossed Card

Happy Friday to you.  Do you have any plans for the weekend?  Hope it includes some crafting.  Today I am sharing a sympathy card I made.  A friend's mother passed away and I wanted to send her a card.  I didn't have any in my stash so I had to make one.   It's hard to make sympathy cards when someone has already passed on.
The paper is a shimmer red from my scrap pile. I
used an embossing folder for the design.
This paper embossed so beautifully.  I wish I
knew where this paper came from. I just love it!

Inside the card I used a  CTMH and
Mama Elephant stamp sets.
Enjoy your weekend!  Happy Stamping.

Music is one of life's greatest joys!

Today I would like to share a card I made for Charlene and her family.  Charlene is the owner of "The Hen House Paperie" and her mother Charlotte passed away on March 30th.  Although I never meet her mother it seems Charlotte lived a very active and full life.  Charlene said her mother loved music and played the piano, accordion, saxophone, and harmonica. I decided to make a sympathy card with music notes to honor her mother.  Our blessing and prayers are with Charlene and all her family.

May your day be filled with the sounds of music and bring you much joy and happiness!
