Easter Baskets

Happy Monday. Are you getting together with family and friends for Easter? My family gathers at my house for a BBQ, Easter egg hunts and just enjoy being together. Everyone brings a little something for each of the kids but over the years its turned into Christmas. The kids get Easter baskets from each family and go home with multiple baskets and goodies. Just to much stuff.

This year I decided to buy each child a basket and everyone can bring one item to put into each child's  basket. Then I saw the prices of baskets (what? How much?) So I made them baskets instead. At the  Dollar store I bought plastic baskets, bunny feet and tails. The bunny ears were purchased at Hobby Lobby with the grandkids, for a $1.79 at 40% off sale.  Total cost for each basket $3.45. Huge savings compared to buying a premade basket. They were so much fun to make too.

Printed bunny face online.

Bunny ears, tails & bunny feet.

I made 10 baskets.
We have 9 little ones and 1 preteen.

One of my granddaughters pick the
 gray ears.

You all have a blessed Easter Sunday!

Bunny Card

Happy Monday! I told you last week I went over to Heather's house to borrow some Easter dies. While I was there we made an Easter card. We put away a lot of her dies and stamps and just got caught up on life.

This Easter card is so adorable!

Heather always has a sample card
made by her sister Felicity. I tried to
stamp the "Happy Spring" in white
like the sample. I differently used the
wrong ink and/or embossing powder!
I also added a bunny tail to this one.
What do you think? Bunny tail or
no bunny tail?

I used the black ink on this one.

Thank you for stopping by today! May your day be filled with spring flowers and smiles!

Happy Easter

Happy Monday Easter! I hope you all had a blessed Easter Sunday! I wanted to make some Easter cards to send out to my TOPS group. I headed to my neighbors house to borrow some Easter die cuts to make these cards. I'm so lucky to have Heather next door. She is Hobby Lobby and has everything!! Including a giving heart to allow me to use anything I want. Thank you Heather.

I used different paper for the baskets and ran them
through an embossing folder.

I used the same paper as the basket
inside the cards.
Have a Blessed Week!

Baby Chicks

Happy April Monday! How was your Easter? Did you make any Easter crafts? My family and I had a wonderful Easter. I bought these cute baby chicks from Oriental Trading and made these holders for them. The kids just loved them.
I wanted somekind of a holder for the baby chicks.
I decided on the SU curvy keepsake box. I cut out
circles and glued clear plastic to create a window
for each box.

The chicks came in yellow, blue, green and pink.

Hope you have a Blessed April!

Easter Bunny

Happy Easter!  Thought I would share some Easter bunnies.  I had some suckers left over from Valentines day and decided to use them for Easter.  Since everyone gets so much candy on Easter, I wanted to also make something that wasn't full of sugar.  So scroll down and look what I made.

These are the Blow Pop Suckers.  I used punches to
make the bunnies.

These are Anti-bacterial hand gel.  I got the idea
from one of my favorite blogs:  bethapalooza.blogspot.com

This one is made using nail polish.

Pink nail polish would be perfect but I only
had sparkling white.
This is our  precious Easter Bunny Tessa.  She
has grown so much already.  Don't you just love
all that hair?
You all have a Blessed Easter!!!

Easter Carrots

Happy Thursday to you!  It has been a really busy week for me.  I wish I could say I have been busy making Easter stuff but that is not the case.  I wanted to make some Easter treats for the little ones in our family. I made these real quick yesterday. I didn't want to give them candy so I made them  fish cracker carrots.
In the this basket they look like pineapples...LOL

I used a baggie and filled it with crackers.  I cut some
green construction paper and tied it with pipe cleaners.
I stamped "Happy Easter" on CS,  punched it out
and attached it with the pipe cleaner.
Very easy and quick.

These were so quick and easy they look like a
first grader made them...hee hee
Hope you have a wonderful Easter!!  God Bless

Easter Candy Holders

Hello!  Hope your having a good day so far.  I made some Ghiradelli chocolate holders for Easter. I got the idea from Splitcoaststampers, Beate Johns- Tea Bag Holder. Sorry about the bad pictures.  I use the natural lighting from the sun but Albuquerque has had some cloudy days lately.

I made a couple of them for April Birthdays.

The inside flaps are not attached leaving room to write
on the CS behind the candy.  I think they need something
added to the inside.  What do you think?
Happy Stamping!!

Happy Friday to you! I made a couple more bunny cards  for the Operation Write Home organization.
The bunny stamp is from a CTMH Easter set.

This little bunny is a SU wood stamp.

Hope you find time to do some crafting this weekend.  Happy bunny stamping.

Some Bunny Loves You

A few bunny cards for you to see.  I used some Easter egg paper and a CTMH bunny stamp.
This bunny was colored with Prisma color pencils.

I printed the saying on my computer.
