Old or New storage

Happy Monday to everyone! How was your weekend? Hope you had a great one! Today I wanted to share a storage cabinet I found for my craft room.  As you know we are remodeling our home and finally finished with our upstairs. It has not been an easy task  putting my craft room back together. I  know what I want but don't want to spend the money on new storage. I saw these drawers at a yard sale and knew these would be perfect in my room.  

The drawers belonged to a water bed so they are
two separate units made to lay flat with the waterbed on top.
  

A kitchen formica countertop would be perfect for the top.

Here they are painted, mounted and waiting for a 
new top. What do you think?

I checked prices and found that formica is not cheap.
I had to come up with a cheaper idea for the top.
 My husband had a door in his shed, so he cut it to fit, 
sanded and painted it for me.  In the end the only cost
was for the waterbed drawers of $15.00. (smiling)

This is my craft room so far. It's still under construction (laughing)
I  have yet to pick colors I want to decorate with. I'll keep you updated

Items for Sale

Happy Thursday and Happy Mother's Day weekend. This is the first time in about 8 years that I had to buy Mother's day cards....(sad face). I was shocked at the cost of cards. If I would have made two Mother's day cards it probably would have cost me $29.99 in supplies.....that would not have bothered me. (laughing)

 I am busy unpacking my craft room boxes and found I don't need all the items. I will be selling my items on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 8am-12noon at my home and again on Monday, May 9, 2016 starting at 3:00pm-to 6:00pm. Please email me at: djparra7@aol.com if you have any questions.

Most of my ribbon, embellishments etc will be
 priced at .25¢ - $1.00

The  paper racks are $15.00 each.

I'm asking $5.00 for this container. The long drawers only
hold light items and one of the drawers is missing.

Remodel Craftroom

Happy Thursday. How is your week going so far? Can you believe it's the last week of April? My May calendar is already full so it's going to be a busy May. I mentioned that my husband and I are remodeling our house. We are replacing our carpets with bamboo floors so I thought I would share my craft room with you. 

Here is my craft room with all my crafting stuff removed.

 place before I packed everything up.
I will share when it's all done.

During the packing period. Oh Dear!!  What a
mess!  The one thing I realized is I am a collector
of everything....Hoarder!! LOL

Boy has this been a eye opener. I have way to much stuff!!  I am going to reorganize my room so I will selling some of my current  containers and paper holders etc. Have a wonderful weekend!
