Wedding Shower

Happy Monday. Today I'm sharing a wedding shower card I made for my niece. She will be getting married in September. She love sunflowers. I used a itty bitty punch to make the sunflower bouquet.

I used a brown marker to add the center of the flower.

Bridal Shower

Happy Monday! How's everyone doing? Are you surviving the HOT weather? I don't do well in hot weather. By the end of the day I don't want to do anything! I had a bridal shower I went to this past weekend. I used the invitation for the shower to make the bridal card. Sorry but this post is a long one.

This is the invite. The color
is actually Rose Gold. It looks
copper but it's a softer color
in person.

As the base of the card I used the polka
paper which is the actual invitation.
I cut the gold flap from the envelope
and attached it to left side of the card.
I lined a piece of white CS with the gold
from the inside of the envelope.

The dress was cut using a Stamp'n Up
die-cut, from embossed paper
and added the lace and pearls.
I stamped Congratulations on
CS and attached it to the bottom.

At the bridal shower they put us in groups
of four. One of us had to be the bride while
the other three made the wedding dress using
toilet paper.  Our group won the prize.
This is my daughter Stephanie. She was
the bride for our group.

She makes a beautiful bride. We did a
pretty good job using that toilet paper.
She even had a long veil....(smiling) it was
a fun bridal shower.
Thanks for letting me share my bridal shower and card. Enjoy your week! Stay COOL!

Bridal Shower

Happy Monday! I had a Bridal Shower a few weekends ago and this is the card I made. The Wedding is 12/31/2018, New Year's Eve....How fun, don't you think? My husband and I have never gone out on New Years Eve so we are looking forward to this Wedding.
I used the Stampin up "dress up framelits" and the
Impression Obsessions "wedding icons" die.

The card has lots of glitter and sparkle.

Wedding Shower

Happy Monday and Happy 4th of July. Today I am sharing a Wedding shower I had at my house a few weeks ago. My daughter-in-laws sister is getting married and I offered to host the Wedding shower at my house since the bride and mother both live out of town. Albuquerque was a good central place for all the guests.
I made this wreath to hang on the front door.
I saw one like it on pinterest for $75.00
and thought I would give it a try.

I draped pearls down the tulle.

The Wedding is rustic so I used a grapevine
wreath, added the white flowers, tulle
and pearls.  Total cost $25.00. Of course
everything was 50% off at Hobby Lobby.
Here is a view from upstairs of the table settings.

A remodel Note: Take a close look at the wood stove.
We haven't finished the remodel. You can see the
concrete floor. where we need to put tile.
My goal to finish is by Christmas...(smiling)

I decorated this frame with flowers and
tulle for photos.

I made napkin rings using burlap and flowers.

They made the most beautiful flower center pieces.

Dessert table.

The Cheers table-Mimosa, Citrus water and wine.

The bride to be is on the right, just in
case you got us mixed up....haha
Thanks for spending part of your day with me while I share my pictures.  Have a fun 4th of July!

Bridal Shower

Happy Monday!  Get your coffee or water because today's post is a long one.  I have pictures from the shower to share and some candles I covered as gifts for the guests.
I started with a box of jarred scented candles.

Brittny (bride) printed out labels with the wedding
date and last names.  I attached the label to black
Card stock.  The wedding colors are black,
white and champagne

I glued white lace to a piece of black card stock,
then glued the CS to the candle and then attached
the label.

This is the best gift I have ever seen for a wine lover.
It's such a great gift for the bride and groom. Each
bottle of wine has a tag for different occasions:
honeymoon, first Christmas Eve, first fight,
first baby etc. along with a cute saying for each tag.

My sister Lisa made her beautiful cookies.

Here are the candles.

This is a picture of my Mom, Brittny and my 90
year old Grandma Mary.

We played the bride dress game.  We had four groups
and each group had one person be the bride.  Using
toilet paper we had to make the bride a dress.

Brittny is posing with all the brides and their
beautiful dresses.

This is Isabella (my niece) with Brittny. She is the flower girl.
She wanted a bridal dress so we made her a dress too.

This is a picture of me, Brittny and Brittny's  Mom Lorenza.
(by the way this is how Brittny spells her name, it's not a typo)
Sorry for the long posting.  Hope you enjoy your day!  Happy Stamping.

Bridal Card

Happy July 1st! Half the year is already gone.  It's time to start your Christmas shopping and Christmas cards....(Laughing)  No Christmas cards today but I am sharing a bridal card I made for my daughter-in-law to be.  The bridal shower was this past weekend and we had a fun time.
The stamp is from Stamping bella-
Uptown girl Brigitte the bride. I think this
stamp is a really cute.

I used an embossing folder for the boarder. I stamped
the dress a second time on embossed paper from
the wedding invites and cut it out to add a layer
to the dress.

I topped it all off with  tulle, pearls,
a silk flower and Stickles on the bouquet.

Inside the card.

I stamped the outside of the envelope.
Check back later this week and I will share some pictures from the bridal shower.  Enjoy your day!

Today I am sharing the bridal shower invitations I made for my beautiful daughter-in-law to be.  Her colors are pink, gray and champagne (gold color).
The dress is a SU stamp and the "you're invited" is a CTMH stamp.

I embossed the white CS with the flowers.  Using a
shimmer pen I colored the insides of the flowers gold.

I punched out a pink flower from Christmas glitter
wrapping paper and attached them to the dress to
add some color to the dress.

They are ready to be mail. Yeah!

Make sure you stop by this week I will be sharing a couple of cards from Felicity.  Have a fabulous week.
