Happy Cinco de Mayo! Manzano del Sol, a Senior housing/Nursing home in Albuquerque had their annual "Grandma's Garden" fundraiser. They sell beautiful flowers, plants and vegetables. They had live music, dancing, food and a few vendors. I was lucky enough to be one of the vendor's. It was so much fun!!!!
Here I am next to my table. The fundraiser was held in their garden. They have a gorgeous garden. |
This is Tweedle Dee the clown. She was adorable. She was full of life and brought smiles to everyone. |
This is the dancing club. They were getting ready to show off their dancing talent. Boy can they dance. Everyone danced all day. It was wonderful! |
So all this week I will share the items I made for the craft fair. I made some Mother Day gifts. These are plastic fruit containers with candles inside. |
A close-up of the candles. |
This craft fair was SO MUCH FUN!! I just love the elderly. They are so full of life and have so much wisdom and knowledge. I hope I can make this an annual affair. Hope you have a great Cinco de Mayo celebrations today!
