Birthday Hats

Happy Snow Thursday to you.  We are finally getting winter weather in Albuquerque.
My niece Isabella had her birthday party last weekend.  I made her some party hats for her party.
I took a sheet of construction paper and cut them into a
cone shape to form the hats.

I stamped swirls and stars on the paper.

I added Christmas garland to the bottom of the hats.

I cut strips of sheer material and attached them to the
inside of the hats.
I rolled up the hats up into a cone
shape and glued
together. I added an elastic beading
cord to the bottom so the hats would stay on the

little girls heads.

I sprayed glitter onto the hats to make them
really sparkle.

Here is a close up so you can see the glitter.
I made crowns for the little boys attending the party.
I wanted to add jewels to the crowns but decided at
this young age they might take off the jewels and
swallow them.  Better to be safe.

My sister Lisa and I made these Tulle garland for the party.

These are the magic wands for all the little princesses.

Be safe out there today....God Bless
