Can't believe it's already February! Time sure flies when your having fun. 

I received a homemade birdhouse for Christmas from my daughter's boyfriend's mother.  It's so cute. She makes them from old licenses plates.  I will have to take a picture of it and post it so you can see it. 

So today here is my version of a birdhouse.  

I embossed the blue paper using the Swirl embossing
 folder, sanded it  and tore the edges.
  I added blue ink to highlight the swirls and edges.
I used scrap paper to make the bird house and bird.
I threaded the button and tied a bow.

Side Note:  I do not sew and I never thread my buttons.
