Not sure where the dinosaur paper is from. It was

in my single sheets of paper but it's perfect for these cards.

Happy Mother's Day

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! These are the two Mother's day card I made, one for my Mother and one for my Mother-in-law. I am blessed to have both to celebrate, love and continue to learn from. 

I fussy cut a piece of paper into clouds 

and brushed ink on it to make the cloud

background. 

After stamping the tree,  I add leaves, 

flowers and grass. 

 

My daughter and I made these flower sugar cookies.

I added skewers to the dough before baking.

Frosted them and added them to a flower pot. 

Made these tags and give each of one

my daughter-in-laws one. The 

Grandkids were a lot more happy to 

see the cookie bouquets than the moms

were....(smiling)

90th Birthday

Here we are already in May, happy May Monday!  Today's card is for a very special lady. Peggy is from my TOPS group (take pounds off sensibly). We have not meet in person for over a year now. Since Peggy was turning 90 years young as a group we decided to do a drive by birthday celebration. Peggy was surprised and brought to tears. She is truly a lady, classy, loving and beautiful inside and out. I always told her I wanted to be just like her when I grow up. Happy Birthday Peggy!

Baptism

Happy April Monday! This past weekend my two grandsons were baptized together. What a blessing to have your two sons side by side with their sons being baptized together.  What a blessing. I cased a sample card from inkwooddesign.com. using white, gold and silver and added my personal touches to it. 

The baptism was beautiful and we are so blessed to have all of our grandchildren!  Have a great week!
 

Coloring FUN!

Happy Monday! My neighbor Heather came over last week with paint and rocks. Yes, we painted rocks. It was so much fun. Be sure to to scroll to the bottom to see our rocks. I color with my grandkids all the time but the little ones attention span is only about 15 minutes so I decided to make some cards that I could enjoy coloring all by myself.  Now don't judge, I had marker all over my hands and didn't know it....(LOL)  So you will see the marks of ink where there shouldn't be, but it was relaxing and fun! That's what crafting is all about FUN!
