Baptism

Happy Monday! How is everyone doing today? It's already the last Monday of January. Crazy huh? Today I'm sharing a couple of baptism cards I made for my grandson.

These photos are not very good.. Made these at the last
minute and the lighting was not so great.

I bought this embossing folder ages
ago and I'm finally using it.....LOL

The ink on this cross is a shimmer blue.
You can't see it in the photo but it's really pretty.

Have a super great week!!

Mermaid Birthday

Happy Martin Luther King Monday! Here is another Mermaid card I made for my other granddaughter who turned 4. Her and her sister had a swimming birthday party with Mermaid's as the theme. I can't believe how fast they are growing.

This image is also a printable coloring
book page.

Wishing you a blessed 2019 New Year!

Baby Mermaid

Happy January 2019! It's been awhile since I have posted anything. December is always a busy month but when you add the grandkids into the mix it makes it a blessing but leaves little time to post. My granddaughter Jade turned two years old in November. She had a Mermaid themed birthday, so I made this card for her.
Not having a mermaid stamp, I printed
the image from a printable coloring book.

She is so adorable. I used Prisma color
pencils to color her and stickles to make
the bubbles 3-D.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Okay Light The Candles!

Happy December Monday! Can't believe it's already December. It's been a great year but it went so fast. Here is another birthday card I made for my nephew. I love this stamp set "Fire Out" from Art Impressions.
I used Prisma Color Markers to color in the image.
It's always a challenge for me to make
masculine cards.

The candles are 3-D stickers

Enjoy your day. Don't work to hard this Christmas Season. God Bless!

Elmo Birthday

Happy Elmo Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving week. My niece turned two years old and loves Elmo. She carries him wherever she goes and loves to wear Elmo PJ's. I searched the web for Elmo cards and found this web site: www.repeatcrafterme.com and thought the card was really cute.
The Elmo card on the right was made just as the site
instructions. I wanted to "Up It" as my neighbor
Heather would say (smiling) So I made another
card using Flocking Powder and glitter paper for the eyes.

Can you see the flocking?  Elmo's mouth on the right
is freehand using marker. I tried to do the same with
paper but just couldn't get it right, so I went with the
 half circle instead.

Inside the card has a pop-up Happy birthday.

This is the other card I made.
Do you have Flocking Powder? It was all the craze at one time. So of course I have several different colors still unopened....hahaha The Crafters got to have it...right?
