Sending You Sunshine!

Happy Sunny Monday! How is your day going so far? Hope your enjoying you're summer! The card I'm sharing with you today is one of the cards I made with my neighbor Heather. We had so much fun crafting again. My husband always says I come home in a good mood after crafting with Heather. I guess I need to go over there more often.....(laughing)

Heather's sister, Felicity designed the card. She sends
Heather samples of the cards she makes for classes
she does in El Paso. Then we are lucky enough
to make them since Heather has all the same
die cuts as her sister. Lucky Me!!!!

We used "Die Cuts" to make the sun,
envelope, heart & sunshine. The
"sending you" is a stamp.

Cards

Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a card I made with my neighbor Heather. We were able to do some crafting this past week.  This card was designed by her sister Felicity. It's a beautiful card.

I decided to use this one as a Father's day card
since I hadn't made any cards.

Firemen boots

Happy Monday Morning! Today I am sharing a flower planter I made using my husbands boots. I think they came out really cute and my husband likes them. 

My husband is a retired fireman and
these are his old boots. 

I cut out patches from his old uniforms
and glued them to the boots.

I added rocks at the bottom of the boots
for drainage and filled them with potting
soil. I planted marigold flowers because
he likes marigolds.  

Marigolds are not one of my favorite
flowers so I add a blue pansies for
 me....hee hee.

Birthday Wishes

Happy June Monday! Wow where did May go? Hope your enjoying your day. I am sharing a birthday card I made for an aunt of mine. Sorry about the bad picture. The card has lots of ink distressing on it but it doesn't show up. 

I used ribbon, lace and string. I used die
cuts to make the Happy Birthday
 embellishment.

TOPS Conference

Happy Memorial Day!  Thank you to all the military personnel for the sacrifices you have made for our freedom. Hope your having a super great day. 

In April my TOPS group (take off pounds sensibly) had their NM State Conference. Each one of the Chapters had to donate a basket of goodies to be raffled off as a fundraiser for the next year. Our Chapter decided to just donate money, so I made two money wreaths as our donation.

I folded 65 one dollars bills. This wreath had $40.00
on it. I used flower pins to attach the money to the
styrofoam wreath and added flowers and ribbon. 

The second wreath had $25.00 on it. 

At the last minute our chapter was asked to make
the invites for next years State Conference. The
theme for next year is TOPS is FAN-TASTIC.
I decided to make fans. I printed out the invites
on colored card stock and used a die cut to cut
them out. Some of the ladies helped glue them onto
the Popsicles sticks. 

Everything turned out great. Our Wreaths were a big hit. Enjoy your day!
