My Birthday Cards

Hello, How is are you today?  Hope you had a nice weekend.  Today I am sharing some homemade cards I received for my birthday and a set of towel my Grandma embroidered for me.
My Grandma is 90 years old and to pass time she
does embroidery.  She makes beautiful things.

This card was made by Debbie one of my
crafting friends.

I love this flower!!

This card was made by Marie another crafting
friend. Both Debbie and Marie were from the
Wednesday ladies crafting night.

I like what Marie did to the  middle of the flower

This card was made by my dear friend Heather.

I love the glitter paper and the design of the card.
I so enjoy receiving homemade cards.  Thank you ladies.  Have a wonderful day!

Wedding Card

Happy Friday.  Hope you had a great week.  Since I still have left over Wedding paper sitting on my crafting floor I decided to make a Wedding card. The card is square with lots of layers and a couple of embellishments.
Sorry about the bad pictures.  I missed the natural
lighting I usually use for taking pictures.

The bottom paper is an embossed handmade paper
from Michael's. The square scallop is a die from
Sizzix and the next layer is the Bigz Lattice die
cut from SU.

The rectangle was embossed using the Cuttlebug
"Measure by Measure" embossing folder.

The birds and the cross are both sticker embellishments.
The flowers were made with a punch and a pearl.

Inside the card.
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your weekend.

Graduation Card and Candle

Happy Wednesday.  Today I am sharing the graduation card and candle I made for my niece Lexi for her graduation.  I used the other sheet of Cheetah paper to match the journal I made.

I used Mod Podge to glue the paper to the glass
 candle.

The owl is made using the SU owl punch. The wings
are the SU scallop punch.  I added a light
pink glitter paper to make the owl stand out.

I made the diploma with white paper and ribbon
and the graduation hat is a sticker.

Inside the card I used the cheetah print, glitter
paper and a pink CS.

Here is a ;picture of all three items.
Enjoy your day!

Graduation Signature Book

Happy June 1st.  My niece Alexis graduated from High School this past week.  My sister Renee asked if I would make a journal book for everyone at the party to sign congratulations wishes. I was short on time and couldn't make one by scratch so I pulled one out of my stash and decorated it for her.
Lexi loves cheetah print so I had two sheets of
this paper so it worked out great.

The lace ribbon is from Joann's dollar bin. Not sure
where I got the shimmer pink ribbon.

The paper itself is a fur texture.  It's really pretty.
I typed Alexis (Lexi) name on the computer.

I attached Lexi's High School announcement to the
lift inside of the journal.

The journal is from Micheal's dollar bin and
has lines inside.  It was just too boring and plain.
I decided to add color and graduation stamps.

I took ink pads and ran them over ALL the pages.
It started out as fun but by the end I didn't want to
see another ink pad....LOL

I will attach a black marker for everyone to
write their good wishes and congratulations
over the inked pages.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Hope your day is wonderful!

Praise the Lord Butterfly Card

It's Friday!  Hope your day is going well so far.  Today's card is a very simple card using white CS as the background along with some embellishments, stamps and dies.
I stamped the swirls with a SU stamp and the
Praise the Lord is a CTMH stamp.

The flower is a Jolee's embellishment.

The butterfly was made using the Sizzix & Hero
Arts Die and Stamp butterfly set.  I added ink and
glitter to the butterfly.

Inside the card I used a sticker of words attached
to a die cut oval.

I added glitter to the scalloped edges and attached the flower.
