Candy Baskets

Happy Tuesday to you.  Today I am sharing the baskets I made as decorations for my Mom's 70th birthday party.  Being Easter weekend I thought they would make a nice table decoration.
These are made using 6x6 CS and pattern paper on
the outside squares.

I pulled out all my cheaters (store bought embellishments),
stickers, punches, die cuts.  Just about everything in
my craft room to decorate these baskets.

I added colored shredded paper and candy inside.
Of course the kids really loved them.
Thank you for stopping by today.  Enjoy your day!

70th Birthday Invitations

Happy Monday to you to.  I hope you had a wonderful and blessed Easter Sunday! My Mom turned seventy on Easter Sunday. What a blessing.  We had a big surprise party and celebration for her on Saturday.  Here are the invites I made for her party.
I used a flower paper packet and printed out the
wording on the computer. The invite is 4x12 tri-fold.
  (surprise, surprise another tri-fold...hee hee)

I requested a memory from everyone to be mailed or
emailed to me instead of a gift.  I made a pocket
album for all the letters as a keepsake for my Mom.

I thought the memory letters would be a wonderful gift to my Mom.  Little did I know what a wonderful gift it was to me!  As the letters poured in I smiled, I laughed, I cried and my heart was filled with the Love of my Mother.  If you have a milestone birthday or event coming up requesting memories is the BEST gift you can give.  Hope you have a great week!!

Easter Carrots

Happy Thursday to you!  It has been a really busy week for me.  I wish I could say I have been busy making Easter stuff but that is not the case.  I wanted to make some Easter treats for the little ones in our family. I made these real quick yesterday. I didn't want to give them candy so I made them  fish cracker carrots.
In the this basket they look like pineapples...LOL

I used a baggie and filled it with crackers.  I cut some
green construction paper and tied it with pipe cleaners.
I stamped "Happy Easter" on CS,  punched it out
and attached it with the pipe cleaner.
Very easy and quick.

These were so quick and easy they look like a
first grader made them...hee hee
Hope you have a wonderful Easter!!  God Bless

Birthday Butterflies

Happy Wednesday to you! Here is yet another Tri-fold card.  I am sure you wish I would move onto something different!  They are just so much fun to make I can't stop....LOL
I should recreate each one of the these panels to make
three more cards.

The paper is from Micheal's single sheets.

The butterfly is two different die cuts.

The flowers are from the dollar bin at Michael's and
the butterfly is a punch. I added some pink feathers
from a boa I got at the dollar store.  Click on the image
and you can see them behind the butterflies.

I made this birthday card for my husband's auntie Annie.  Happy Birthday Auntie Annie.  Your a special lady!  Have a wonderful day today!!

Just A Note

Happy Tax day!!!   Hope you had a nice weekend.  Did you get any crafting done?
How about some yard work or did you have to do your taxes?
Hope you had time for crafting and yard work...hee hee
It's hard for me during the spring and fall to work in my craft room when it's so
beautiful outside.  Here is a card I made using die cuts and an embossing folder.
The saying "Just A Note" is a  SU stamp from 1993.
Over 20 years old and still stamping great. I hope I
can say that about myself in twenty years......LOL

Later this week or maybe next week I will show you some Invites I made using this same design.  Happy Stamping and smile at someone today and they will smile back.
