60th Birthday Tree

Happy December Monday! It's been awhile since my last posting. I've been super busy and this time of the year there is so much to do. I wanted to share some Christmas tree handmade decorating I did. My hubby turned 60 years young. I trimmed our tree to celebrate him turning 60.

   

Started with twine and ribbon. 

I tied ribbon onto the twine. I would have

liked to add more ribbon but I was short

on time so I left spaces between each ribbon. 

Using a roll of glitter Christmas wrapping

paper I glued it to a 12 X 12 piece of CS

and then cut out the ornaments. It was much

cheaper than buying the glitter CS. 

I used a gold CS to add the top to the 

ornaments. I cut out the 60 and glued

them to the ornament. 

 

Here is the tree along with black

and gold balls. I topped it with a homemade

angel I purchased at a craft fair.

Happy Monday. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving! I made this wreath for my front door. I bought the rag/ribbon string garland at Hobby Lobby for 75% off. It was only $3.00 (happy face).  The cars and the Welcome plaques was bought at the dollar store. I had the ribbon for the bow and the fall flowers. I love wreaths but never have time to make them. It was fun to make!

Happy Halloween Monday! I wish I could tell you I worked on some Halloween crafts this year but I didn't. (sad face). But here is another great card Heather sent over for me to put together.

Happy Monday! I am so lucky to have such a great neighbor as Heather.  I don't have the time to attend crafting days with her and the other ladies but she doesn't leave me out. She made extra cuttings of the cards they made and brought them over for me to put together. How great is that? Thank you Heather!
