Late birtdhay

Happy Monday. My brother-in-law had a birthday and I didn't get him a card made on time. (sad face)  I've had this sentiment from rubbernecker and I've never used it.  This was the perfect time. Could it be that I am the only one who has new crafting items they've never used?  (laughing)
Wanting to make the card look manly, I used a dark
brown CS and run it through an embossing folder.

I added some twine and knots.

Inside of the card.
Enjoy your week!

Money Tree

Happy April! Today I am sharing a money tree I made for my TOPS group. We had our annual conference and we are required to donate a themed basket to be raffled off as a fundraiser. Our group decided to make a money tree instead of a themed basket. I had a cardboard tree I purchased from Oriental Trading (3 years ago...hee hee) that would be perfect for this project.
The tree before the money was added. I added
glitter to the tree before attaching the money.
The tree has 51- one dollar bills.

The money was attached with paper clips. It needed
some color so I added small purple flowers.

I made this box to add words of encouragement.

After stamping funny and uplifting sayings,
the ladies in my TOPS chapter wrote
personal advice and encouragement for the winner.

I covered it in plastic wrap.
One of these days I will have a photo area instead of these ugly sheets for my photos. Maybe even a new camera....,,     Have a great day!

Doggie, Bacon and Eggs

Hello, how are you doing today? I'm glad you stopped by today. My neighbor Heather and I got together on President day. (yes way back in February) It's so nice to be next door to a craftier and spend time crafting. We made these two cards.
I made this card for my sister Renee since the little
doggie looks just like her dog.
We stamped the image twice and popped the mouth
and the bow.

Inside the card.

This is the other card. It's so darn cute. Bacon
and eggs.

We added liquid glass to make the egg yolk shine.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Dinosaur or Dragon?

Happy Monday! How is everyone today? Are you enjoying the start of spring? We are having such warm weather in Albuquerque it seems more like summer. Today I am sharing a card I made for a 6 year old boy. He is a friend of my daughters and he loves dinosaurs. I saw this on Pinterest and thought I would try it. I just had to laugh when he opened the card because he said " Cool Dragon".  So what do you think? Dinosaur or Dragon?
I free cut the body and used punches for the rest.

I ran all the parts through a embossing folder and
inked the edges.

Inside the card.
Hope you find some time for crafting this week!

Horse Party

Happy Monday everyone. Hope your having a wonderful day. My niece is into horses right now.  She turned 6 and wanted a horse at her birthday party....(laughing) She didn't get a horse at her party but I made her a horse birthday card.  I headed over to Pinterest for some inspiration.  They had lots of horse cards but I had no horse stamps. Of course that's Murphy's law...I have hundreds of stamps but not one with a horse.....laughing. I searched my paper packets and found a horse in a Princess paper packet.

The horse has glitter so I used a purple glitter paper
as the base card.

The "happy birthday" is a die cut and I added
purple sequins.
My niece had a great time at her birthday party even without the horses.
