Thank you!

Tomorrow is Veteran's Day so I thought I would make a thank you card in honor of our Veterans.

The jar is a stamp set from CTMH.
The BIG red button is from a friend who is a yard sale
junkie.  She brings me the coolest buttons.

Sending out a great Big THANK YOU to all of the Veterans and their families.  God Bless You!

A Grateful Heart

Good Morning.  How is everyone today? We are so blessed here in Albuquerque with this beautiful weather right now. Hope you are all enjoying it.  Today's posting is a card I made for one of the ladies from my TOPS group.
The paper is crush velvet from Costco.  That paper
package is never ending, wish my crafting budget
was like the paper packet, never ending....LOL
You can't tell by the picture but the velvet is a beautiful golden color.

Inside of the Card.
Find some time to craft this weekend.  Thank you for stopping by today.

Hammer

Happy Wednesday to you!  My sister and her boyfriend built a house together. I wanted to give them a little something to celebrate their new home.  I saw this idea on Pinterest and decided this would be a cute "Moving Day" gift.
I came up with a sentiment and attached it to a wine bottle tag. I
found an old rusty hammer in our garage.  (It's a miracle I can find

anything in that garage or my craft room..LOL) I added glitter to
the head of the hammer then used Modge Podge to seal it. I painted the handle
red and I tied it together with  twine, red ribbon and a couple of washers.
Here is a closer look at the tag.

Can you see the rust coming through the silver glitter?
Hee Hee I guess I should have just bought a new hammer
but I always believe in recycling!!
I added a pocket to the back of the tag because I wanted
to give them some cash for dinner on moving day.
My Sister and her boyfriend loved their gift.  Thanks for letting me share Have a fabulous day!

Snowman Gift Card Holder

Welcome to my blog today.  Did you remember to set your clocks back an hour on Saturday night?  It's hard to adjust to the new time change.Yuck!  Remember my Football contest I did with my TOPS group?  (See October 10th's posting.) The game ended last week so now I had to come up with gifts for the winning team. I decided to make something they could use at Christmas time.
I used the SU Top Note die to make these cute snowman.

I drew the smiles on with a marker so each
one is a little different.

I free hand cut the nose, inked them and drew
brown lines to make each one unique. I used
pink chalk for the checks.

Here is the back of the snowman where you insert
a gift card or money.  You can write/sign your name
here also.

I wanted to display them at the TOPS meeting so I
added the strip of CS to help them stand up.

You can still fold them down to fit into an envelope.

Lets hope the TOPS ladies like them.
Thank you for stopping by today.  Hope you have a Happy Snowman of a day!
