Wine bottle cover

Happy Wednesday everyone.  Hope your having a super great day so far!  This is the invite we received for the 60th birthday party.  I used it to make a wine bottle cover as a gift.
The invitation measured 5x7 so I had to cut it down to
fit the wine bottle.  I really liked the decorated edges
and hated to cut them off but I had no choice.  So I
went back and cut out the detailed edges and glued
them back onto the cover.  I added a green, red and
black boarder around the invite to add  more color.

This is the finished bottle cover.

Bill is in a band and plays guitar. He also  loves
to ride bikes so I decided to add these charms.
Can you see in the right hand corner how I added
the cut out edges?

I didn't have anything left from the invite for the top of
the cover, so using distress inks I colored and stamped
a piece of CS to match the invite.

At the last minute I added Bill's name to the bottom. LOL
Hope you enjoy your day!

Over the Hill stand up card

Happy Tuesday to you!  I had a 60th birthday party this weekend.  This is the over the hill card I made.
The trees were stamped then cut out and glued to the card.
The over the hill stamp is a CTMH stamp set.

I just love Ralph the golfing cartoon character.
He is from Rubbernecker.com.  I used Prismcolor
markers to color him.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful day!

Mommy Daddy Baby

Happy Monday to you! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's day! Today I wanted to share with you the baby card I made for the shower I attended a few weeks ago.  She had a baby girl (baby came 7 weeks early and getting stronger everyday).  Emily didn't want anything pink and she decorated the baby's room with owls.  So I made her this non-traditional baby card with owls.
I used the SU owl punch and a die cut for the branch
and baby bottle.

Back of the card
These flower pots were the decorations on the tables.
Everyone got to take one home.
They were home made by Yvonne & Esther's Sweet Treats.
Yvonne does BEAUTIFUL work.  She does Tea Parties,
Dessert Trays & Gourmet Apples. If you ever need
goodies or a party catered give her a call at 505-352-9080.

The chocolate one is a pretzel covered in peanuts and
chocolate. MMMM it was so good!
Instead of games we decorated onesie and head bands.
This is my daughter Stephanie decorating her onesie.

Here are the completed ones.
Sorry about the long post today.  The baby shower was so much fun I just had to share. Have a super great day!

Kit Kat and Almond Joy

It's Friday, did you have a good week?  I hope you did.  Today I am sharing with you some more candy I sold at the craft fair.  I used mini Kit Kats and Almond Joy bars.
I covered the candy bars in paper then ran each
end through the Fishar's crimper to seal the ends.

I decorated each one differently.

Using Army paper I make some masculine covers for the men.

You have a blessed weekend.  Take time to craft this weekend!

Tic Tac

Happy Thursday everyone!  I thought these covered Tic Tac's would be a hit at the craft fair.  NOT!  LOL. I only sold two of them.  Oh well now I have items for the next craft fair.
I used scrap paper, and made all the embellishments
except for the cup cake sticker below and of course the
bling.  I used different punches to punch shapes
into the CS to show the Tic Tac's.

These are my favorite. The mustache is a CTMH stamp.
I stamped it on CS, cut it out. I then glued black Flock to it.

Hope you have a super great day!
