Happy Monday! How is everyone doing today? It's the last day of July and that means the mad dash to the stores for school goers. Good luck to those of you having to hit the stores this weekend!

My nephew turned five years old and his birthday invite was "Paw-Patrol".  I used his invite to make his card. I forgot to take a picture of the invitation. My granddaughter loves Paw-Patrol so the cartoon character  is "Chase". I am sure you were just dying to know his name....(laughing)
I cut "Chase" out along
with his dogie bone. The bone said
"Paw-rty" on it, so I had to cut out some
white CS and attach it to the top of the
bone before adding the happy birthday.

For the inside of the card I used the
yellow paw prints and the "Paw-Patrol"
shield.
Wishing you a Happy Week. May your week be filled with smiles and hugs.

Baptism

Happy Monday.  Today I am sharing a baptism card I made. It was quick and easy using embossing folders and die cuts.

The cross is a sticker.

I added glitter paper behind the die cut shape.

Have a wonderful week! God Bless.

Great Idea

Happy Monday to you! I wanted to share this great idea that I got from Home depot.  At least I think it's a great idea...(smiling). Since we remodeled our house I had yet to hang anything on the walls. I wanted different size picture frames with my families pictures over the wood stove.I am the worse at hanging frames straight on my walls.  I always leave holes all over by the time I'm done.

So here is the great idea: You take contact paper (for your drawers or shelves) and cut out the size of the frame your going to hang. You then put the contact paper on the wall (the sticky side) and move them around until you decide where you want everything hung. You then place your frame/picture over the contact paper. Using your level you make sure the frame is straight and hammer in your nail.  Remove the contact paper and hang your frame.
Here is the contact paper hanging on my wall.  I
moved them several times until I was satisfied.

I hung the first frame/picture.

A close up of the contact paper. I got three rolls
at the Dollar store.
Here are all the frames and shelves hung. This was
so easy and NO extra holes....Yippee. I still have
to add my family's pictures to the frames.

I hope you try this. It really works and it made my life so easy!!  FYI: I used the cut out contact paper for my grand daughter to play with.  She added leaves, paper, rocks etc to the sticky side and had so much fun. Thanks you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!

Happy Monday! How is your July going so far? July always makes me realize that December is just around the corner....laughing. Time just goes by so fast for me. How about you? Hope your getting some crafting in your busy schedule.  The card I am sharing today was made for one of my nieces. She is having her third boy. She so wanted a little girl.
The "Baby" and "It's a Boy"
are both stickers.

The star paper came out of a packet
and I just layered it with blue and white
for the background.

Thanks for stopping by today.  You have a wonderful week! Happy Stamping!

Wedding Shower

Happy Monday and Happy 4th of July. Today I am sharing a Wedding shower I had at my house a few weeks ago. My daughter-in-laws sister is getting married and I offered to host the Wedding shower at my house since the bride and mother both live out of town. Albuquerque was a good central place for all the guests.
I made this wreath to hang on the front door.
I saw one like it on pinterest for $75.00
and thought I would give it a try.

I draped pearls down the tulle.

The Wedding is rustic so I used a grapevine
wreath, added the white flowers, tulle
and pearls.  Total cost $25.00. Of course
everything was 50% off at Hobby Lobby.
Here is a view from upstairs of the table settings.

A remodel Note: Take a close look at the wood stove.
We haven't finished the remodel. You can see the
concrete floor. where we need to put tile.
My goal to finish is by Christmas...(smiling)

I decorated this frame with flowers and
tulle for photos.

I made napkin rings using burlap and flowers.

They made the most beautiful flower center pieces.

Dessert table.

The Cheers table-Mimosa, Citrus water and wine.

The bride to be is on the right, just in
case you got us mixed up....haha
Thanks for spending part of your day with me while I share my pictures.  Have a fun 4th of July!
