Get Well

Happy Wednesday. Hope your having a wonderful day. Most of my cards these days are very quick and simple.  I don't have a whole lot of time for crafting so I have to make as many cards as I can in a short time.  I made three get well cards the other afternoon and this is the second one.
This stamp is from "Aunt Annie" a shop I
use to order from on line. It's a cute stamp image
don't you think?

I didn't have time to color the whole image so I
just colored in the sunflowers and heart.

Are you making time for stamping and crafting?  Hope so.  Thanks for stopping by!

Caught A Bug

Happy Monday Everyone! How was your weekend?  Keeping warm I hope.  Today I am sharing a card I made for one of my TOPS friends. She is the Iron women of our group and now she is sick. Boo Hoo.  Sure hope she feels better soon.
Saw this "Caught A bug" idea on Pinterest and
thought it was a cute.

I have a jar of these ladybugs. Not sure where
they came from but they are so cute.

The jar is a stamp from CTMH.

I was short on time so I just hand wrote the saying.

Inside of the card.  The ladybugs and
flowers are a line punch from "American Girl"
Don't catch any bugs now.  Stay Well.  Have a good week!

Birds and more Birds

Happy Thursday.  Last week when I made those couple of Sympathy cards I also  made these two cards as well.  They are very quick and simple cards.

I used embossing folders and colored in only the
flowers just to add some color to the card.

This card I added glitter.  You can't see it very well
but the whole bird bath fountain sparkles.
Enjoy your weekend!

First Birthday

Happy Monday! Hope your enjoying your day.  Today is my granddaughter's first birthday. Can't believe how fast this year has gone. I made her a birthday card and wrote her a letter.  Her Mom and Dad didn't want any gifts.  Instead they requested a letter written to Tessa that she will read when she is in her teens.  I really liked their idea and I will write one each year for her.
The dress is an embellishment and the letters
are stickers.

Inside the card
Here is Tessa and I and below with her Grandpa.
She had on fancy ruffled dress but she didn't like
it one bit.  She kept pulling it off so they change her
into a "Superwomen" top and a Tutu.

We are singing Happy Birthday to her.

Tessa wouldn't eat the cake but finally she torn into it.
Thanks for letting me share!  Have a super great week! God Bless

With Sympathy

Happy Thursday to you.  How is everyone doing in the New Year? I hope you're having a wonderful January month. A good friend of my had her Mom pass away just before Christmas.  It's always hard to loose a loved one but during the holidays it makes harder.  I had no sympathy cards in my stash so I made these two cards.  These were very simple and quick cards to make.  I love using embossing folders.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Homemade Christmas Cards

Happy Monday. Okay this is the last of my Christmas stuff.  Homemade cards I received for Christmas.  I send out lots of Christmas cards and receive many in return.  I love Christmas cards.  I tape all my cards on a door in my entry way and leave them there the whole month of January.
This card was made by Debbie.  It's beautiful!

This card was made by Dee.  The stamping is done on
velum and just perfect.  I love it!

This card was made by Heather. I love the die
cut she used. Great job Heather.

This card was made my Marie.  She made it to look
like a wrapped gift.  How cleaver.  Nice card!

This card is not homemade but I loved it so much
I just had to share.  It could be a homemade card.
Hmmmm maybe this will be my card next year???

This was my Christmas card this year.  It's kind of homemade.
I made each of the wood plaques.  I used my Cricut machine

to cutout the letters.
Have a wonderful week!

Christmas Stocking Stuffers

Happy Thursday! Hope your having a wonderful day. My sisters and I along with our spouses do a stocking exchange instead of gifts for Christmas. Each one of us has to buy or make a small token for each person.  It's so much fun!!  Since my children are all grown adults they also have joined in on the stocking exchange.  The three items I am sharing today, ornament, chapstick and nail polish were all made by my daughter Stephanie.  I love that she likes to craft like me!!
Cinnamon star ornament. It smells so good!!!

Chapstick.

"For your Mistle-toes"
Mini OPI
nail polish, lotion and nail file.
We out grew our stockings so my sister Renee
made these Christmas bags for each of us. Next
year she is going to embroider our names on them.
We take turns adding our items to the bags so no one
knows who gave what.  Lots of fun!

Happy New Year

Here we are in the New Year looking back wondering where did 2015 go?  Did you make a New Year resolution for 2016?  Did you keep last years? Guess what? You have 361 days to keep your 2016 resolution(s)... hee hee.  Today I am sharing a New Year's card I made for a lady at my Church.
The background paper had the silver glitter pattern.
I stamped the "celebrate and 2016" with silver
embossing powder.

Inside the card.
Wishing you the BEST 2016 New Year!  God Bless.

Happy New Year!

Happy 2016!!  Hope you enjoyed bringing in the New Year! For the next couple weeks I will be sharing some items I made for Christmas and some of the homemade items I received.  Thank you for spending time with me here on my blog in 2015.  Hope to share more in 2016!
I took a box of Hostess HO HO's and Ding Dongs
wrapped ribbon around the two boxes and hung
them on my neighbor Heather's door.

This is the tag I attached:
HO HO HO from the DING DONGS next door!

I made this flower vase with a metal can and candy
canes.  I used three (3) boxes of candy canes.

I added double sided tape around the can, then used
a rubber band to hold the candy canes in place as I was
adding them to the can.  I poured glue around the top
of the can to secure the candy canes to the can.

With the added flowers.
Have a super great New Years Day!
