I wanted to share the precious gift my Grandma made me for my birthday.  She does lots and lots of embroidery.  

This is a dresser scarf or table runner. 

It's just beautiful!!

Puff's klenexx

Hope your having a wonderful day so far.  I decide to decorate my Kleenex's box.  This is such a pretty blue box with white leaves I just thought it needed some flowers.   My husband better be careful if he sits to long I may decorate him too.....LOL

This would make a cute gift for someone.  

I added a few butterflies. If you are wondering
what I am going to do with the box when I am finished I am 
just going to add new Kleenexes from another box.  

The flower on the left is from Michael's.  The other flowers are
the cloth flowers in a jar and I just added the gold glitter.

Graduation Card

Today's I am sharing a card  made by Heather my neighbor.  She gave it to Stephanie for her graduation.  

She used the same color scheme of the party.

I just Love these glasses.  I am going to have to get that die cut.

Diaper Cake

Happy Monday to you all! I have a baby shower coming up so I decided to attempt a diaper cake. I have never made one so I decided to look up a few tutorials. Wow there are a lot of diaper tutorials out there. Some use rubber bands, others use blankets, onesies and wash cloths. I decided to attempt this very simple style. It was pretty easy once I got started.  

It's been a long time since I bought diapers.  I
wasn't sure which ones to buy or what they 
were going to look like.  These happen to have
 green and  purple dots. I just can't get away 
from all those dots....LOL

I used an empty paper towel roll for the center and
ribbon around the outside to hold the diapers together. 

I used safety pins to attach the items on top.

More thank you's

It's Friday.  Are you ready for the three day weekend?  Do you have big plans for crafting?  Sure hope you make time to create something and enjoy your weekend. Here are three more thank you cards. 

I really like these colors.  They are bright and happy. 

Here I added buttons.  I wanted to do more buttons but
they don't mail very well. 

This was one of the first thank you cards I made.
The "thank you" is a die cut and it was so hard to glue
them on straight.  As you can see the "Y" is so out of place.
Oh well only other crafters will see that. Right????

Today's cards are two of the same card with just a few differences.  I used a different embossing folder on each one and different stamps.  Both of the embossing folders are from Darcie's.

Hello everyone.  The rest of the week I will be sharing the thank you cards I made for Stephanie to send for her graduation gifts.  I tried to stay with the colors and dots I used for her party.

Here they are in a nice colorful pile. 

On most of the cards I used embossing folders. 

I used a shimmer spray to make the card shine.
(Okay the truth is I got glue all over it and hated not
to use it so I sprayed it with shimmer..LOL)

I used the left over paper from the party to make all the dots.
